Either a reboot or continuation of a show.... what would you want back?

Show that ended on its own terms or show that was cancelled.

I wouldn't mind if they rebooted Firefly... probably too late to "continue" it.

Or a continuation of Alphas.... fucking Syfy.

Sliders, but they would need to stop with the BS kromagg arc.

Continuation or reboot? Or you don't care?

Continuation, as there is already a reboot of the tick with a different cast. Both shows went away too soon.

Continuation I presume?
I have never been able to decide. If they somehow would make a new series based on the same premise(exploring parallel earths) and keep an even keeled approach, not push some political bend on it, and not try to warp it into yet-another sci-fi show that hires a bunch of larping enthusiasts with prosthetic make-up to dictate the prop department and character creation.... maybe we can get somewhere. Or worse, filming 20% or more on green screens and rely on CGI to the point where it's no longer relatable.

Some of the original cast is still in good enough physical shape to do a reboot. Remake could work just fine as well. It's honestly not a show that was good because the characters made it good. It was a good show because of the background details.

Loved both those shows but not sure I would reboot. Mainly because I think there is already a lot of good Sci-Fi out there with (Dark Matter, Expanse, and Star Trek Discovery). As for Alphas, Superhero TV shows and movies abound so that is pretty well covered as well. The Gifted and Legion are probably my 2 favorites when it comes to government conspiracy type shows dealing with people with superpowers. My top 3 are

1. Profit due to it being well ahead of its time. It centered on an exec at a multinational conglomerate and all the shit you think about when you think of corporate greed, US financial crisis, etc. were epitomized in the lead character. Unfortunately Americans at the time couldn't wrap their head around watching a show with a lead that was not heroic in the least so it got canceled after 3 episodes.

2. Twin Peaks - Weird as **** and really still nothing that captures Lynch in all his insanity.

3. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - I liked this better than all the movies.

Idk if you knew but they cancelled Dark Matter after the end of this past season.

I liked the Terminator show as well.

WTF, I thought I heard it was getting renewed? Motherfucker. I hate when they end shit on a cliffhanger especially when the shit was about to get really interesting.

Hopefully, Netflix or someone picks that shit up. Otherwise, add that to my list of shows I wish they would bring back, lol. Jesus.

Without thinking much about it I’d have to say The League.

PBS WWII (one season of Vietnam War) documentary series Battlefield.

Easily my favorite show of all time, must watch for any military history buff. They should continue the series into other wars. Most of the episodes are on youtube.

One of my favorite episodes.
