I would go to the future, where everything was magically better and I could live peacefully in the United States of China.

There are a bunch of 'times' that I would have liked to live in.

I would have liked to be part or the revolutionary war. I would not have played by the rules one bit and probably been much like Robert Rogers (7 November 1731 – 18 May 1795) who helped establish a less civil but more effective way of fighting. During this time I would have also met with certain Founding Fathers and tried to explain how their ideas for how to run this country and our economy would serve to get us in trouble later. I know you can't take what you know now and impart your wisdom back then, but I strongly believe that if I had heard Alexander Hamilton talk about the BUS or how to make debt equitable I would have succeeded where Aaron Burr failed if you catch my drift.

I would also liked to have lived somewhere in the mediteranian region around the start of the new millenium (1BC-1AD) so I could try and take religion out of the world. So much fighting and death has been wrought forth by people's ardent belief in something they will never see or touch but can somehow explain. I would lead a political movement in Rome, and in Cairo, and in Greece, and in the Sanai to take religion out of law and show people you can have morality without tying it to a supreme or omnipotent being.

More recently I would have liked to live in the early to mid 1800s in the US so that I could help settle the frontier. I would have claimed as much land for myself as possible and made sure that my heirs could split it up in an equitable manner and sell it off slowly so that developers and industry and the government would buy it at good prices making my kids and their kids really wealthy. I would have settled chunks of land in the current footprint of suburban Chicago. I would have laid claim to areas like the gold coast in Chicago.

I want what most people want, to have made a difference and also to have been wealthy by obtaining something someone else wanted more than I needed it.

I would go into the future and be the president of the United States of China and ban Havoc from entering. He can go to Japanada instead.

If I had to pick another era it would have to be the 20's. For some reason I am gravitated towards that era. I think alot has to due with the flapper.. Women were finally coming into their own and started standing up for what they believed in. I can totally relate to finding your inner woman

Did you watch Boardwalk on cable recently? You would have liked it. I don't know if they did well enough to get a second season but Steve Buscemi and the rest of the cast were a lot of fun to watch as they created a semi historical account of Proabition.

Scorcese did an excellent job, it will be back. It was renewed after the first episode. It was HBO's highest premiere since deadwood. It's a great show, and great era, a real interesting time period. Makes you wonder if prohibition was forced through by do-gooders who really wanted no alcohol, or the profiteers who trippled their haul.

I have all the episodes on the DVR , only watched a couple of them.

The ones I have seen were pretty good.

How about going back to my high school days but with my current base of knowledge. That would be entertaining. Although it could also be maddening.

Yea, I would have been chasing skirts instead of playing sports, maybe my body would be in better shape, not as many aches and pains.

I thought people played sports because it made it easier to chase skirts?

I was into sports big time and never really dated when I was playing.
