I turned around faster than a fat kid chasing an ice cream truck and and confronted him.
He coughed up my hamilton and avoided the ugly stuff.

Tbh, punching someone in the face really isn't bright. There's a better chance you injure your hand than actually severely wounding your opponent.

This is true. You reduce potential injury risk to your knuckles while maximizing the effectiveness of the strike. I took 3 months of Krav Maga training a couple of years ago and my days of closed fist fighting as an initial tactic are behind me.
