You have to include more details. If he kills a random person, or somebody who didn't deserve it....**** yes.

How would you define deserved? I cant think of way i wouldnt turn him in. I would turn in my own family if they murdered someone

Depends. If the murder was justified or if it was accident somehow and he seemed terrified and felt bad.. then probably not.
But if it was for no reason and he seemed crazy, then yeah.

Regardless of the situation/circumstances involving the murder, your friend will be caught one way or another... sooo... why not get some extra cash with the reward for information?
