no more shootouts

go 4 on 4 for 10 mins. if it is a tie, 1 point a piece like the good ole days

Yes.

Or we should just get a goalie that is good at shootouts.

Or a W should be 3 points
An SOL 2 points
And An OTL 1 point

Also, no. Get rid of all consolation points. I'd much rather see teams play to win.

which is 3 games back. it can be done. i just want to get in

Ya, it's just Niemi... I mean, he isn't that good. Crawford is better.

I still hear people complain about losing Niemi, and I'm like "WTF?"

Crawford>Niemi IMO.

What do you guys think? Crawf for No-No?

Strong game from Kane and Keith. Keith was very physical which was absolutely needed against Pittsburgh.

I really wish the Hawks could play the Penguins more often. The games are great.

Need a shootout vs an AHL team outside Staal/ Fleury. (not talking about their d-men)

Moral victory.

I just dont get this team and how they cant hold a damn lead. What is everyones thoughts on the lines?

All year the team has been changing up lines to try and create a spark, but after a while you have to try and tough it out with guys to get the familiarity. Sharp Toews and Kane have done well playing together, but other than that, the past few games have all been jumbled up. Going into the game against Columbus I believe, all the talk was about the Frolik Bolly and Hossa line working together, and that didnt even last the whole game, as Brouwer jumped on the line (and I thought they looked good)

I am not a Bickell fan as all the dude does is know he has a good wrist shot, but takes too long to wind it up. The guys last year came up scoring and knew where to be backchecking because they played multiple games together, and I really believe that has an impact now.

Personally I didn't see anything wrong with 5 on 5 for 5 minutes and then if nothing - 1 point each. Or even ditch OT all together.

Otoh I didn't see anything wrong with the red line and 2 line passes.

I could care less if "fans" wanted a result... giving a consolation point isn't a result -and really the only actual result that matters is winning 16 games in the post-season.

I see it this way...

Had we had that rule the old way, starting yesterday, we'd be 3 points out of the playoffs. Now we are just 2.

I'm not going to complain about that.
