One more thing- this was one of the tamest Hawks/Canucks games in recent memory.

Good on the Hawks for staying out of the box yet again. They learned the hard way in that regard.

But aside from a few solid hits from Van, there was no real grit to the game at all. I've read and heard a few people say that Vancouver Boston is now the premier rivalry in the league (which I dismissed) but maybe it is and now the feud with the Hawks is fading a little. Tonight's game didn't have the sense of urgency or the playoff atmosphere that these regular season matchups have had in the past. Still a good game with 2 good teams playing, but the physical play was missing.

Really need to see another Chi/Van playoff matchup this year.

"Tame" is a good word for that one, especially compared to the last. But I thought it was also fun to watch. Lots of end-to-end action, although more of it in Vancouver's end in the 2nd and 3rd, which is good to see.

Pretty solid game by most Blackhawks last night. Schneider made some huge saves and got the Canucks the win.

Thought Crawford looked pretty solid for the most part. Hard to really fault him on any of the goals and he made some huge saves himself.

Stalberg looked absolutely great last night. The turnover was an unfortunate one but he created so much offense it was ridiculous. For people that are wishing that he finished more...I understand but you have to understand that he wouldn't be put in those opportunities if he didn't have the ridiculous speed that he does. With out his best asset he wouldn't even have an opportunity most of the time. He is doing exactly what he should be doing and as long as the opportunities keep coming like they did last night, then Stalberg should be applauded for the effort.

Morrison was up and down last night. Was a bit shaky at first but he definitely showed some nice glimpses of how he can feed the puck to Hossa/Sharp and let them bury the puck.

I thought Keith had a pretty solid game (minus the one brutal turnover in the slot). He (along with many Blackhawks D) was stepping up and clogging up the neutral zone.

Playing Scott in a game like last night is an absolute joke. Let's forget the fact that Scott can't play hockey and let's focus and what it does to other Dmen when Scott is in the line up and plays 5 minutes, and not one shift in the 3rd period (By the way, why the hell does he always get on the ice after the third period and start to stretch, as if he is going to get a shot in OT). Keith had to play over 30 minutes last night, Dmen had to push themselves in the 3rd period, and all this with 8 more games on the road. I don't know who's decision it is to have Scott in the lineup but it is a terrible decision in my opinion.

A point on the road against the Canucks isn't the end of the world. Big game against the Oilers Thursday night.

If Stalberg "finished more" he would have had 4 goals last night.

If that's what some are expecting, I don't know how to respond.

No one expected this from Frolik. Frolik = Dunn

thats kind of a bad comparison. Frolik wasnt supposed to be this stud but just a descent player. expectations of frolik were no were near the expectations of dunn. frolik=alex rios....thats a better comparison.

Foley needs to stop with the "Where's Henrik? Where's Daniel" shit. It's fucking annoying.
