lawson-billups-anthony-harrington-and 'x' big man. Bill ups is too small for a 2, and too slow to guard rose. I haven't see enough of lawson to form an opinion. Smith is streaky, and is currently in a slump. Anthony usually struggles against the bulls, and hopefully the streak will continue. Harrington is the classic tweener that ought to be abused by gibson. Ely? birdman isn't a great post defender. I'd rather have shelden williams' wife on my team.

All in all except a few severly limited centers, this team is set to be a turrible team on defense. More importantly, our offense might be able to overcome theirs. We just need our bench to keep us in the game.

Harrington, smith, and lawson all come of their bench.

Strangely, harrington is better than the starting pf, and his minutes indicate it. There's no way that scal can guard him. According to the stats Affallo is shooting the 3 pretty well, and he's playing better than bogans.

Smith is playing 20 minutes a game, and always has the potential to go shoot his way into/out of the line up.


ON the other hand, It's not crazy that scal either, stays infront of harrington or matches his scoring, they have a simliar style of play. Maybe scal has a few tricks left. Also It's not crazy that JJ has a decent game. Korver might be able to contribute a couple buckets. If cj has another decent game, and asik continues to hustle, it might happen.

Meh...idk... Korver can flat out shoot, and Asik is a tall, white, european version of Noah...the dude just hustles...nowhere near the skill or experience yet, but he can play... unfortunately, the play of JJ and CJ may be the true x-factor

Well, he also can't stop fouling people and apparently has a hard time hitting free-throws.....so....yeah. That's not to say that he can't grab his fair share of rebounds (he is a seven footer, after all), but considering he seems to be yet another bulls center without a good low-post game or good face-up jumper, let's not go overboard in dreaming on Omer fucking Asik because he "hustles".

With Nene, Anderson & Martin all out I like our chances a lot with the way Noah & Taj have been playing. Their front court consists of guys who are barely in the league and small forwards right now, that's something we should be able to abuse. Taj just needs to stay out of foul trouble so we see as little of JJ & Scal as possible.

The danger is like with the Knicks game, they have a bunch of shooters and if they hit their shots then we could just be out of luck no matter how we play.

Denver is a mediocre to bad defensive team even at full strength, and they're missing their three best bigs. I expect we'll have no trouble scoring, it's just that they're a strong offensive team so we might lose in a shootout. I expect us to pass 100, only problem is I expect them to as well.
