More fans there then what FC Dallas and New England get for regular season games.

Oduro impressive as usual, Barouch again reminds us of how great he is off the bench.

Glad you found the stream.....we were kind of keeping it on the DL since it wasn't the Fire and it wasn't "officially" sanctioned. But we figured out how to do it. In fact, any game that we are at that has no 'official' broadcast, we will provide one. We were working on a few ideas on how to make it happened, so this was the first time, and I'm glad it worked.

The stadium was actually kind of nice--despite the turf field. That was shit. But the stands were 25,000 capacity, and there were 5,000 tix sold/distributed, and about 6,500 people were there. What's cool about that, was that the Mardi Gras parade was going on and it had just rained VERY heavily before the game. So in a place where there wasn't much of any real publicity and conflicting events, the draw was still decent. It was funny though, I didn't know that NOLA actually had a large Honduran population.

As far as the game is concerned, it was interesting to note that most of the starting 11 got the start and did well--crisp one and two touch passing with good vision and predictive passing; not just putting the ball at someone's feet, but pushing the ball into spaces for someone to run onto. It made our attack have more teeth and move quicker and a little less predicatively than it has previously been. I was quite pleased to see that. Alex is going to take Grazzini's job--book it.

There are some other spoilers, but I'll leave that. Oh, and Ivan Guerrero still has it; great touch and plenty of gas in the tank. He will sign and retire 100% Fire. I couldn't be more pleased about it. All we need to do is give something to Colorado for his rights (good thing Ivan never played for them and they are not a conference rival). My guess is we'll give them a supplemental pick next year.
