So can we see some new guys in the shootout sometime soon?

Toews and Kane are usually good, but Sharp is god awful (no idea why he gets so many chances) and Hossa really isn't that special. There has to be someone on the team that's capable of at least hitting the net.

Brouwer? Bolland? Frolik? Someone.

Shit if you get hammered because the Hawks lose - you probably should have died of alcohol poisoning about 5 years ago :D

Lol - you guys crack me up, seriously -considering how shitty this team had been up until Toews/Kane's rookie season that apparently you forgot just how shitty that was.

Oh well, whatever- at least you aren't out on the streets or anything....

Er, you're not are you? :D

Like you i say keep kane and toews, but yes lets see frolik, maybe campbell i know he is a d man but he is elusive and i think could be a "decent" SO guy not sayin put him in the three hole but 4-5 maybe.

We all got greedy we tasted the cup and now seeing the team struggle is hard. And yes they used to be bad but this team SHOULD not be as bad as it has been.

I absolutely remember and I'm starting to remember how that felt.

Back to watching hockey and having no expectations. Hell, this loss tonight didn't even feel that bad.

Time for Stan to find a taker for Viktor StalSUCK.

I want to see Morin back up over this POS.

you want Morin on a 4th line role where he wont develope into a top 6 player?

Foley pointed out tonight how Stalberg is developing into a more all around player. He is becoming a physical presence now on the team, and with his size he can become dynamic power forward. So again offensive numbers dont mean a thing, hope you have a good reply for this instead of avoiding it yet again :pity:

he may have a high ceiling, but the dude is clearly not ready for the NHL. He may have all the tools, but they arent ready yet.

No it's not hard at all really --- in 49 out of the last 50 years they have won jack squat.... come to think of it, none of the teams won diddly in the 70's and then up until the Bears won Super Bowl XX ... nothing, nada, nichts....

Then no one won anything until the Bulls in what? 1991?

I won't even go into the entire Cubs thing -because that is a little like masochism... but, frankly some of you guys have no idea how lucky you've been to not have to grow up with annual sucking at every single sport in town -and that is exactly what it was like. See take the Cubs, lose all of the marketing that gets suckers to go and pay good money to see them lose year after year- and multiply it by every single sports team in town...

Actually that isn't true- The Sting would win -- but then again when all you got is soccer it is a little like this: :kick:

So, frankly, I just don't get it ... but then again -well hell I remember when gas was like 69 cents a gallon - :rolling:

I guess being an old bastard has had its advantages. :D Along with a legacy of shitty Chicago sports teams that never won anything, at least it was cheaper to drive.

This is what ive been saying all year...we get a cup and people are spoiled...I understand we aren't playing as well as we should be, but we have a stanley cup in the last 10 years...go ask other teams about how they feel...

Exactly...Morin probably does have more skill than Stalberg, but there is no room for him on the top 6 WHERE HE BELONGS...let Stalberg develop into a solid 3rd line winger instead of putting Morin out there with guys he doesnt work well with

And dont expect a response from Joe...we are still waiting on his salary cap moves from last summer
