Interesting bit of info from the Game Preview above:

...Crawford is one victory away from becoming the first Blackhawk to record 30 in a season since Jocelyn Thibault won 33 games in 2001-02.

Dave Bolland is still out with a concussion and Patrick Sharp is expected to be out for at least two weeks with a left-knee injury. He'll most likely be replaced by Stalberg on the 1st line. As for the Ducks, Jaffray will be out with a knee injury.

I love how you used the old Duck's logo. FAR better than their new one.

I think the 'Hawks are set up to win this game. They need to. Anaheim is tailing them right now. With Nashville refusing to lose, the 'Hawks must keep winning.

Agreed. Their new one doesn't even really count as a logo in my book. I was gonna go with their alternate logo from 95-96:

...but decided that was a little too over the top. Plus it doesn't make any sense. What's he doing under a sheet of ice with hockey equipment on?

Hahaha. Very true, but anything is better then their new "logo." If I was their fan base, I'd petition to go back to the old ones.

I'm excited.

Hope the two top lines have another strong game and as usual... special teams. Need to get the PK in shape for the playoffs. Nobody is going anywhere in the post-season with the leagues worst PK.

Agreed. They looked pretty good against the Kittens the other night but then again, so could anyone. If I remember correctly, the Panthers are (or were) in like the bottom three of the league when it comes to power plays.

This scares me as well. I am scared every time the 'Hawks go on the PK. I can't say I had that ailment last season.

I recall them being 1st in the PP for at least some periods of time a couple of weeks back.

Crawford is going after a shot to put his name up there with Jocelyn Thibault, it's definitely on now.

Is it just me or does Brian Campbell look like that one weird kid we all went to school with that liked to start fires?
