I know last year we made a nice run right around interleague play after being in a big hole, but i would not want to bank on a comeback like that ever again. start off strong and hope minny and detroit have some issues.

We got lucky in a sense that we got Cleveland and Kansas City while Detroit and Minnesota got New York and the always first-of-the-season hot Orioles and Blue Jays. I realize eventually we have to play the Yankees other teams that seem to be our bane and we shouldn't be scoreboard checking early in the season, but hopefully the Sox can build momentum early, success is usually the breeding ground for more success.
