Puckdrop - 6:00 p.m.
TV - CSN Chicago
Radio - WGN AM 720

After being shutout at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers and Michael Fucking Neuvirth, the Hawks have a quick turnaround in heading a bit farther east to take on last year's Winter Classic opponent: the Washington Capitals. Early struggles have been the story in Hawks' first four games, with the defense struggling to regain its shutdown form and some of the forwards finding it difficult to wake up to the 2015-16 season's alarm clock. With a 2015 playoff qualifier boasting perhaps the game's most explosive player, Thursday night would be a good time for some oversleeping Hawks to wake up.

LET'S GO HAWKS!

Hawks are pissed about that stinker they laid on the ice last night. They come out blazing in this one and win easily 5-2.

6-1

Only goal for Caps is Backstrom assisted by Oshie.

ARLINGTON, Va. --Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin was scratched Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks because he overslept and was late for the morning skate.

Never did like this guy, Hawks win

To be fair, that AM/PM mix up is pretty harsh. At least it wasn't separate volume knobs that got him.

Trots is rather an idiot in his rigidness in his benching the stars for his team rules.

Remember, he basically threw the pretty decent change Nashville ever had gotten to get to the Conference Finals by benching and maintaining a benching of Radulov and Kostitsyn for missing curfew as they were drinking late.

I expect a line up overhaul after last night's game.

Why?
I thought the Hawks were just fine. The Philly netminder was loads better. Not much they need to change except the puck going into the back of the net.
The PIMs can be lessened a tad, otherwise not a bad start.

They weren't even getting the puck on the net in the first 2 periods. They looked abysmal until the 3rd. Don't be fooled

Q already changed up the lines late in the game. He seems to do it anytime things aren't going good, no matter what the reason is. They never get a chance to "play through it".

Every team we play should just dig up their shittiest goalie from the AHL and play them against us, they will turn into a HoFer for a night.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
If our forwards continue to not be able to hit the 5-hole of Goatse, we'll loose.

Also expecting the 'hawks to come out pissed.

I agree with Tater in that it's not necessarily am indictment of the team but Q always shakes things up after a loss

Have to think that Ovi is going to have a fire lit under his ass tonight after having to sit a game for waking up late. Could definitely spell trouble for the Blackhawks, especially if their #6 dman is on the ice when Ovi is.

Hoping for a tight, low scoring game out of the Blackhawks. A good team and defensive win. Then again, if they want to blow them out of the waters, go for it. Just want a good solid defensive effort.
