The Hawks always seem to have one late-season game on the road where they just get throttled. I remember being there in 2010 when Huet gave up 8 goals against Columbus in late March. In 2011, Dallas blanked them 5-0 on St. Patty's Day. Colorado thumped 'em 6-2 in March 2013. The being that there is precedence for the Hawks looking like a bunch of ECHL rejects. I don't think there's any reason to be concerned about what happened on Saturday night. The rebound won't be easy, though, as the Hawks face a late surging Tampa team that is still very much alive in the East's wild card race. This game means everything to the Lightning, and no one around these parts needs to be reminded about what Tampa is capable of doing when it's clicking. Two points tonight damn near close the door on Minnesota's already dim hopes in winning the division.
LET'S GO HAWKS!!
