Also I'll let ya blast Toews for a lotta things this season, but that OT goal isn't one of 'em.

Then you missed him bobbling it right around his own net and Keith had to pick up with the puck on edge that he ultimately turned over. It was plain as day, rewind your DVR.

Already switched over to this hilarious Packers meltdown in Detroit. I'll re-watch it later to tell you how wrong you are. AGAIN.

Plenty of new guys in the lockerroom but it is looking more and more like this is a team that needs a shakeup which is going to be damn hard to do with the current cap situation. Toews/Hossa aren't getting it done and absolutely no one has stepped up to play on their wing. Kruger and Shaw are having down seasons both when it comes to what they do best and the boxscore where they usually would chip in. Daley played around 12 minutes total tonight...6th among defenseman. Disappointing effort so far this year...luckily this is a team with a core that can still get things done. A lot of questions and not many answers right now though.

BHP and I were talking about that in another thread. I don't see what trade options they have. Any resolutions to this current issue will have to come from inside that room.

It's also worth noting that, in spite of all of this negativity swirling the team, they entered the day ranked 4th in the Western Conference and they just picked up another point.

December has often been the month where this team goes on a huge winning streak, largely because they tend to play more home games after spending the back half of November on the Circus Trip. If we're still talking about this team being a one-line team when we move into 2016, then I'll get some real worries. Until then? Just gonna keep waiting for that progression to the mean.

Thinking that they have to send down one of Mashinter, Kero, or Dano at this point. Get some new blood in that lockerroom. No one is going to expect someone coming up from the AHL to be some sort of savior at this point, but some new blood would be good. Wonder if we see Bickell up here anytime soon...maybe he got the message and comes up here banging and doing what he needs to. Maybe we get playoff Bickell right off the bat. I highly doubt it, but it might be getting to that point since he is a guy who has had success on the left side in the top 6 with the Blackhawks before.

Trading at this point will be extremely hard, even without the cap situation. Two teams that likely want a shake up as well are Cgy and Edm...but trading within the same conference is always tricky. Besides that, most teams probably can see the writing on the wall now but probably don't want to throw in the towel by trading someone for a prospect/pick/salary dump (Car, Tor, Buf, etc for example).

As you said though, Blackhawks are in the thick of it right now. So that is certainly the good news.

Didn't watch the game, but I'm sure Toes played like an asshole. Again. I'm sure HawkWriter posted something stupid. Again.

You know that guy got his ass handed to him by Capt. Serious?

Bickell is playing damn well in Rockford and I think that's a good possibility.

He better be playing well in Rockford.
I honestly don't see him getting called up anytime soon, although it's an expensive lesson to teach a player.
