Bulls defense is championship caliber...their offense? Not so much...

It can happen in one game. Especialy when your best player is out. The heat were awfull too. They are lucky we were more awfull than them today. lol.

Jan 29 2012 Bulls 93 - 97 Heat
Mar 15 2012 Miami 102 - 106 Bulls
Apr 13 2012 Heat 86 - 96 Bulls

So allow me to believe that we can score 90-95 points against them. You can judge from a signle regular season game. But the fact is that as long as we can keep them under 90 points we can beat them anyday anytime. A healty Rose will improve many things in the offensive end. The bulls are 94ppg without Rose and 98ppg with Rose. Thats not a small difference.

there absolutely is truth to it. Go and look at their playoff predictions for the last however many years you want to go to and see if they haven't picked lebron teams every year.

Don't tell me what I know man.

I have...I listened to Bill Simmons, Ric Bucher, Jon Barry, Michael Wilbon...others...and no, they are not in some fantasy lockstep in support of Lebron teams. Not at all...

One thing i know, is tonight is how games between these teams SHOULD end with Rose out of the lineup. With Rose in the lineup.. thats anyones guess.

Dude, you have no clue what I am basing it on. The Bulls are one of the worse FT shooting teams in the league. They have one guy that can create offense for them. No other contender can say that. Their offense is stagnant at times and doesn't at all look championship caliber. It doesn't take Einstein to figure that out.

Wait until their predictions come out. And like I said. There was a thread posted on another forum showing how the ESPN playoff predictions have been picked over the years. And low and behold they mostly all picked the cavs and heat to win damn near every year.

This year will be no different.

Some of the Heat fans are watching the last year triumph in DVD and are prepared for the second in a row imaginary championship. There is no need to give a shit about this and act like idiots too. They won one game. They deserved to win this game. We really sucked hard in the 4th quarter. Without them being dominant or sth like that. They just were better. To tell you the truth I am happy from what I saw today from Rip Hamilton. And from the passion every single one had. They failed to win this. As long as they win the next 3 games. No big deal.

Hamilton has been able to produce some offense now that he's healthy. I'm not saying he's going to bury teams for 30 every night, but he moves well off screens and is able to take some pressure off Rose (if Rose is healthy) then I think our offense can create a new dimension. The real problem, at least as I see it, is the lack of continuity on offense simply because this team has never really played at full strength together. I've been surprised Boozer hasn't missed a single game, but Deng, Hamilton, and Rose all missed extended time.

I do agree that free throw shooting could end up causing some serious issues come playoff time. Without bringing up the whole "Rose choked" scenario, we need to be able to put games away. Free throws are a part of that.

lol man do you really believe that the Free throw shooting will affect them so much? Yes for a championship caliber team they should shoot better. But its the NBA. They are not shooting so bad.
16.2-20.9 (78%) is good FT shooting and 15.4-21.4 (Bulls 72%) is disaster? No way.

They are one of the worst FT shooting teams but they are one of the BEST 3pt shooting teams in the league. One of the most efficient teams in the league. One of the best passing teams in the league. And one of the most rebounding teams in the league. And with Rose they are one of the best OFFENSIVE teams in the league (ppg). Do you really believe that the FT shooting is more important than any of the other stats?

This team can score with multiple players contributing but at the same time this team can also be so pathetic in offense. #NightandDay

Yeah that's kind of true. That's why you need DRose healty. Everyone is better with him in the court. When they don't know where to pass the ball and who will shoot the ball DRose is the EASY answer. So they can focus in everything else. That's why he is a superstar and that's why he is the MVP because he carries all the pressure in his shouldiers and everybody is more free and focused in what he has to do in the court.

The only hope for us in the ECF is rip playing for 15-20 a game and, derrick needs to finish his drives, and get his jumper going. Boozer is an option but he disappears against Miami. And i do not want to rely on korver or CJ to pick up slack.

Derrick will have 20-30 points against them.
Rip will play the same minutes as Wade. Playing the same way he played today.I bet that Wade can't keep this pace and be efficient for more than 30 minutes in a game.
CJ and Korver can shoot as many open 3pts as they want. Espessialy Korver. 43% behind the arc with 111 3pts made is not a small deal. Boozer can start and if he is not in a good day he can warm the bench for the rest of the game. You have Taj.
