For fucks sake no one is saying it's impossible for the Bulls to beat the Heat in the playoffs. Think clearly as to what people on here are saying...

I'm not going to get excited about beating the Heat in the regular season, when the playoffs matter most. If the Bulls win tonight I'll be happy. Not excited. Look at what happened last season...Swept the Heat and then lost 4-1 in the ECF. Are you excited now that we were 3-0 against them in the regular season last year?

A lot of you set your self up for saying stupid shit. If the Heat win tonight, the Bulls win last week isn't that big of a deal.

When the playoffs come around then let's talk who can beat who. The NBA playoffs are MUCH different then a few regular season games.

I also find it funny that people think the Heat can lose in the first round, and that the Bulls are an automatic lock for the ECF.

Zack is right. If our team was fully healthy, I would say its a safe bet that we go to the Eastern Conference Finals. Rose is not healthy, Deng has his own issues...Those are our two All-Stars right there. Are we going to go on a deep playoff run on the back of Carlos Boozer and a bunch of bench players? Bench players are typically marginalized in the playoffs. They become less of a factor. Yeah, we beat the Hawks with a lot of our bench mob playing, but they were a non-factor except in game 1 against the Heat last year.

If Rose suddenly becomes better and the team plays as what they are..a team...then I like our chances. Could we still lose? Yes. But many of you are entirely too optimistic thinking Rose is suddenly going to get healthy and be in a rhythm with the team. I will have to see that to believe it.

No one is hardly saying the Bulls can beat them either. based on last year, like that matters this year.

Wins from last year don't count this year.

But if the heat win, then all the doomsayers will act like Miami showed the Bulls that they can't be beat.

Why even watch the game? It doesn't matter anyway.

If find the opposite funny. People are acting like the Heat are a lock for the Finals, while the Bulls will be lucky to make it to the ECF's again.

Who the hell are these people? Where are they? Are these people in those other forums you visit? Because I don't see that opinion prevalent in this forum.

Mostly around other NBA forums, but on this one posters like yourself, FT, even zack a few posts ago, basically said the same thing.

"We swept them last year and lost, blah, blah, blah. We know what happened last year. That has absolutely nothing to do with this year.

I'm saying that if Miami had won those games, people wouldn't be saying those games are meaningless.

100% True If Chicago beat the Heat in the regular season they be saying MEH regular season doesn't count just look at last year but if the Heat beat the Bulls in the regular season they be saying the Bulls got no shot at beating Miami in the ECF.

This is what I see everyday.

When Miami "won" that first game, Heat fans were gloating. Some Bulls fans were acting like it was all over. Then the bulls won Game 2 and it was "eh, it's the regular season, doesn't matter."

Bulls won Game 3 and same thing. If the Heat win tonight what will they say then? The season series will be tied.

I'll say what I've been saying for awhile. The teams are fairly evenly matched and a couple of bounces or missed free throws swings the game one way or another.

I say this too.

But people act like Miami is some force of competitive nature and unbeatable.

Well in some people like Hou, I believe his main point is that he believes talent wins out (it does the majority of the time actually). Can talent be beaten? Yes, and has on many occasions as well.

They were supposed to be unbeatable but there isn't enough basketballs for Lebron and Wade to share.

Well as I said, he puts a lot of stock in talent it would seem. LeBron is the most talented player in the league.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Oakland Raiders
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I think Miami wins tonight. They won't lose to us 3 times in a row without Rose. Yes, I'm counting last game as without Rose.
