Just re-establishes the fact that Jimmy is the only player worth a damn on this team

Lucky for y'all. The Sixer's would have a tough time against a D League team

Was curious where this game ranks, scoring wise, in Bulls history. I can't find a list at all.

as i expected Bulls would come back (i mean its the Sixers afterall) amazing game from Jimmy aswell

but it wont make me forget that sorry excuse that was the first half. it sad Jimmy had to play 50 fucking minutes and having to best game since Jordan to win...when he should have only played 25-30.

Scoring wise? I think its the 20th. 18 by Jordan and one by Chet Walker

Jimmy Butler scores career-high 53 points to lead Bulls past 76ers

Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler trailed Cleveland's Kyrie Irving by 40,000 votes for a starting spot on the NBA's Eastern Conference team. On Thursday, Butler made a statement that he should be in Toronto as a starter.Butler scored a career-high 53 points in the comeback win over the Philadelphia 76ers. The 26-year-old Butler's effort helped the Bulls erase a 20-plus point deficit in the first half, as they came out firing in the second half.https://twitter.com/_MarcusD_/status/687823413629562881Butler became the third player in the NBA to score 50 or more points, joining Stephen Curry and James Harden to accomplish the feat. His 53 ties Curry for the most in a single game this season. The performance was one for the ages as he became the first Bulls player since Jamal Crawford in 2004 to score 50 or more points in a game. It's also his second 40-plus point performance in the last 11 days.If this doesn't help his All-Star cause, then I don't know what will.

Jimmy doesn't have "it" or so I'm told on this board. And Physically, he can never be as good a player, as Wade, or so I'm told

We had to go to OT against the Sixers...lol
Butler single handedly beat them, while his team shit themselves-on 1 leg. Your point?

I would say let Jimmy play and let his body of work speak for himself. You're talking about D-Wade who has a resume that dwarfs Jimmy and has consistency on his side. I was one of the guys who said Butler didn't have 1st option potential. With the way he's playing, I'll admit, I could easily be very wrong. Jimmy is beasting. He's going to have his chance in the playoffs and that is when names are made. He's had a great run and is playing absolutely phenomenal, but I wouldn't fault anyone for not buying Butler having a D. Wade ceiling. With the way he's been playing, I wouldn't rule it out, but that's something you have to witness for at least a few consecutive seasons to start making those types of claims.

Even though it would take a huge collapse for Curry not to win it, Jimmy is slowly creeping up in the MVP race.
