It kind of hurts you'd put me in the same conversation as Rami.
The truth hurts sometimes man.

Wear it.

Either way, I'm just trying to rationalize everyone else's feelings about the team.
I know.

You're the guy who wants to argue with everyone and talk about being a fan, yet I've never seen you say one positive thing about the team.
Wrong.

You've chosen not to see anything I've had to say positive because you're so caught up in white knighting and being a :homer: for the Bulls.

We're all just here to talk about the team and have fun.
You think this isn't fun for me?

That's what fans do -- they overreact on wins and losses.
No.

That's what stupid people do.

Miamis biggest problem is that there dumbazz coach has absolutely no confidence in his pointguards..
He's got Lebron playin point for most the game and then wonders why it doesn't work.
He has the three divas literally scoring 90% of the teams points. The rest of the team totalling 15....that's a loosing plan.......It gets Lebron off his game as well, which is to concentrate on scoring...
The Heat need a bench and real ball distributer....

Maybe they would trade Lebron for Rose :troll:

You just proved with this stuff that you don't know basketball. If you think Spoelstra planned for his bench to be horrible...you are clueless.

What the hell happened in here?

Is it really that serious?

Yep...I said nothing but that I didn't like the way Rose played, he still seems hurt. And that is more important than a regular season win.

you got SP94 and others acting like bitches because I don't seem happy to them....are you serious? I celebrate championships.

Frankly, I am tired of SP94 stalking my every move, tired of Bear06 being...a dumb idiot...just tired. The last time I was absolutely giddy over a game, was game 1 of the ECF.

Lebron and Wade have each been to the Finals twice, you think they are in the dumps over this game? Remember last year when dudes were crying after the game? People on this forum spoke of how the Bulls owned the Heat...BUT WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END?

So if you want to celebrate a regular season win...go right ahead. Enjoy yourselves. Just quit wondering and prompting me for my thoughts, and then be unhappy with the results.

This is not directed at you necessarily...but others. I tried to keep the peace and didn't say much of anything to anyone...others called me out...and they ain't ready...

You know I'm generally reserved, Hou. I understand that you, FT and a few others are simply being critical of the team, since it hasn't won anything since '98. But both of you have to admit last night's victory was hands down our most impressive, regular season or not, in quite some time. Rose was completely flat, had absolutely no explosion, couldn't make a shot. He couldn't get to the basket. I mean... he went 1 for 13. The only saving grace for Rose last night was he was able to get 8 assists in his 25 minutes.

But let's be honest with each other. Last night's game was a statement. The only player who logged more than 32 minutes was Deng. He hit some huge threes and played some fantastic defense. Watson stepped in huge for Rose, Korver hit some bombs that seriously made this feel like a playoff game. What impressed me the most was the lockdown defense played during the last five minutes of regulation and overtime. Asik and Gibson looked all-world.

Could I be "overracting"? Sure, I guess. But everyone has to admit -- the Bulls are the best team in the NBA. Period. We've beat the Heat twice without Rose and our only loss was a four-point defeat. So, can we finally shut up with the, "This team can't beat the Heat in the playoffs" bullshit? This Bulls team can beat whoever we want on any given night. With or without Rose. We've proved it time and time again.

I don't know if I said the Bulls "can't" beat the Heat, I said they wouldn't...its a prediction. And beating someone on any given night is different from a 7 game series. And may I remind you this ain't baseball or hockey. NBA is a bit less unpredictable. And no, I don't believe the Bulls are the best team in the league. They may be, but I don't have to admit anything because I am not convinced. They could beat anyone on any given night last year too.

Again, I focus on what I focus on. In 1996, I was still nervous when the Bulls were playing Orlando in the ECF. And that team won 72 games!

But I appreciate the candor and the respect you showed in this post...for the most part.

I would say that the magnitude of this game was much higher than most regular season games. Most fans realize that this is probably the only team in the East that can derail us from getting to the Finals. On top of that, both teams were playing at full strength, in terms of all players being available. Even with Rose hobbled, we still found ways to win a game. Our bench was fantastic, our defense was fantastic. Those are two things that are going to help us come May and June. People can point to the Heat having better "players" with LeBron, Wade and Bosh, because on paper, they're better, but the Bulls have them beat in intangibles this time around. Barring a major injury on either side, I really see their post-season meeting (if it does happen) going seven games.

Like I tried to say to FT, who just always misconstrues what everyone says and turns it into an argument because that's what gets him off, most people on here just don't know how to articulate being jovial about a win. Trust me, Hou, I watched all the Bulls titles in the 90s and this team is a far cry from those. But for people who're my age and younger, this is their first taste at watching a supremely talented team with coaching to match. They're excited about it. I guess that comes off as a little juvenile.

I guess it's just the optimist in me. I just think that OKC's faults on offense could really hamper them against San Antonio, the Lakers or even Memphis. They bank too much on running insolation plays are when they go up against those teams that have solid perimeter defense and good one-on-one defenders, it's going to be tough for Durant and Harden have huge games. Westbrook is going to have to be a facilitator.

As for the Heat, I'm not going to go into it.... it'll just start a shit storm. Trust me, Hou. I'm laid back when it comes to debates. I try and respect everyone's opinions, regardless if I agree with them or not. I try to present whatever statement I have to make like an adult, because like you, I do remember them championship teams, as well as the horrible stretch we had right after it. Again, I just always try to be the glass half-full guy. I'm not a GM -- I don't get to decide who's on the floor. I just root for whoever's there.

Being happy is not a big deal to me, don't give me flack for not being as happy as you all are. I am concerned about other things, this victory means nothing.

The Bulls won 3 out of 4 games during the regular season last year. And people on here, some old enough to know better...acted as if that was indicative of what would happen in a playoff series....WRONG! Same dudes acted like babies when the Bulls lost game 5 (go see the thread if you don't believe me...).

If they want to put themselves through that again, go right ahead. I know better.

But you have to admit that this was an important win for the Bulls and an important loss for the Heat. They WANTED to win this game. Their coach said they wanted to get a signature road win. Their pre-game quotes even said as much. That this game meant a lot to them.

You got SP94 and others acting like bitches because I don't seem happy to them....are you serious? I celebrate championships.
I feel you, but come on man, this was a big win. It's okay to get happy about it. I get excited over games like this. Saying you only celebrate championships is a little snobbish, don't you think? That comes off as an arrogant way of being.

Frankly, I am tired of SP94 stalking my every move, tired of Bear06 being...a dumb idiot...just tired. The last time I was absolutely giddy over a game, was game 1 of the ECF.
What I'm tired of is all the back and forth that has nothing to do with the Bulls or basketball. The insults, name calling and the like gets on my nerves.

Lebron and Wade have each been to the Finals twice, you think they are in the dumps over this game? Remember last year when dudes were crying after the game? People on this forum spoke of how the Bulls owned the Heat...BUT WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END?
Last year has nothing to do with this year. And it's okay for the fans to get excited over a big win over their biggest rival. That's part of being a fan. You ride and die with the team, regular season or playoffs.

So if you want to celebrate a regular season win...go right ahead. Enjoy yourselves. Just quit wondering and prompting me for my thoughts, and then be unhappy with the results.
I just think they want to see you join in the revelry. No one likes a sour puss.

This is not directed at you necessarily, but others. I tried to keep the peace and didn't say much of anything to anyone...others called me out, and they ain't ready.
As I have stated, I have no interest in arguing with you. I'm trying to disagree with you, without being disagreeable.

I think your lack of enthusiasm for the team and you talking up lebron all the time rubs people the wrong way. Especially since he is on the team that is the Bulls' biggest rival. Try seeing it from their POV.

I've never once given you flack. I even keep my cool with FT. Frankly, I ignore the bickering. I don't come on the forum to do that. I'm here to have fun with everyone. I leave "JosMin being serious" at work. Like I said, I'm an optimist. I just always try to be excited about our teams. Shit, I'm trying to be happy about the Cubs, for crying out loud. We all know how that's going :smug:

These two games showed that Rose doesn't have to score 40 a night in a series against Miami for the Bulls to have a chance beating them.

You just proved with this stuff that you don't know basketball. If you think Spoelstra planned for his bench to be horrible...you are clueless.

There lack of knowing who is supposed to consistantly be the primary ball handler is the fucking reason for most there failures.

And I can't recall anyone here claiming that last nights victory garentees a playoff series victory over the Heat.
Wher the Hell did you come up with that bullshit.
I don't give a shit how giddy you get.

But being happy for your team when they beat there biggest rival is normal.
Its just a regular season game, but about as close to a playoffgame as a regular season game can get.
So it does mean somthing. If its any indication of how our team can hold our composure under pressure against the Heat, especially in overtime, then it looks good for us..
And Rose sucked eggs and we found a way anyway.
Your abnormal and need to get giddy muthafucka...get giddy boy....giddy yup rawhide.

And its you who stalks me, not vice versa.
Are you paranoid or somthing?

Would you have this same feeling if the Heat had won?

The Bulls won 3 out of 4 games during the regular season last year. And people on here, some old enough to know better...acted as if that was indicative of what would happen in a playoff series....WRONG! Same dudes acted like babies when the Bulls lost game 5 (go see the thread if you don't believe me...).
Was this a shot at me? For the record, they only played the Heat 3 times last year and won all three. They won Game 1 in a blowout and lost the next four in close games, including one where the Bulls gave up a 12 point 4th quarter lead. So let's not act like they just completely dominated the Bulls. They won, but it wasn't a slaughter.

If they want to put themselves through that again, go right ahead. I know better.
Question: What are the lottery numbers for tonight's drawing? I'm saying this because you seem to think you know the future. This is not last year. This Bulls team is a LOT better than last years Bulls team. You have to at least admit this.

Miami isn't as much improved as some would have you believe.
