Rose had 11 assists though. Making his teammates better. Forget about scoring right?

Yup. His 25% nights don't hurt as much when he shoots less and passes more when other guys are clicking.

Expectations for Rose are so high that it's almost impossible for him to match/exceed. I'm just happy he's playing and I don't have to worry every time he hits the floor. He probably won't be MVP Rose until next year.

Are you ever going to give D Rose any props? Or does he have to average a double-double and shoot 50% from the floor to make that happen?

He did what you have been saying he couldn't and played more of a pass first PG role and you give him shit because he shot 4-14.

You don't have the capability to objectively make a reasonable analysis of his game because your still hating on him for something that happened two years ago.

Do you honestly think one game of deferring to others is going to cut it? Lol. You put ha ha in my Coke.

You act as if this is the first time he's gotten high assist numbers all season lol

Didn't we have a discussion a few weeks ago where when Rose has like 10+ assists and under 20 points the team struggles?
Yup. We concluded that 11 turnovers and 1 assist = victory every time

An argument for switching him to the 2 because he's not really a point guard. Certainly you're not suggesting a player shooting 35% and taking a ton of shots is the recipe for taking you far in the playoffs?

Well he is averaging 41% for the season first of all. A ton of shots? He is taking about the same as he has his entire career (17) and is pretty much on track with other scoring PG's. Westbrook is averaging 20 attempts per game, shooting 43% and 27% from 3. Should he move to SG too?

It's a new NBA old man, there are no longer traditional positions in the NBA. It's all about getting the right skill sets and personalities to mesh on the floor together.

Let's eat, grandma! Let's eat grandma! Punctuation saves lives.

The NBA favors teams that have good wing play more than teams that have ball dominant scoring PGs.

Westbrook is who he is. He's as turnover prone as it gets for a point guard. I like Rose more because he definitely doesn't hijack the offense in a dramatic way like Westbrook does.

They make things so hard for themselves because they really do not have a good playmaker nor a guy who can shoot in the back-court other than Brooks. This is not going to improve. They need to make a deal.

Payton is going to grow into a pretty good player.
