What do you mean soon? We already sucked.

soon it wont be overreactions...we got 27 games left if this team is doing anything now is the time to get it going

If it makes anyone feel better, the Wizards (aka the Bull killers) are getting smashed and the almost best team in the NBA just got wrecked by Toronto.

"But they're playing good teams!"

thats pretty much my reply

getting beat by this pistons team is embarrassing no matter how you slice it

they had like 6 players and only 2 were NBA quality

Where's the "Derrick Rose isn't worth what he's paid" options that you apologists refuse to acknowledge?

Clone...?

lolz exaggerations...they had their entire team minus their PG. Detroit is still a bad team and the loss is still bad...but it's not like Detroit was playing a roster of DLeague players. A roster of many poor NBA players perhaps, but NBA players are NBA players.

I don't care what anyone says, there is something wrong with the Bulls. It's not the players they have on the roster, it's not the players that they didn't trade for, and it's not the management. It's the fucking coaching.

There no reason that every player plays like shit against a shorthanded Pistons team. Actions reflect leadership, and Thib's is the leader. This is the 1st game going into the 2nd half of the season, and they were flat out unprepared to play.

They looked tired and unmotivated to play. It simply cannot be a coincidence that so many players looked like shit. The Bulls have a deep, talented roster, that is way underperforming. This means that the coach is not doing his job.

I can't put my finger on it, but it's not the players. I don't know if they are practicing too hard, not getting the proper rest in their travels, or what the **** else, but it is something, and not the players.

GarPax didn't make the players come out and play unmotivated and play like shit. Butler played fairly well, but everyone else played like shit. This shouldn't be happening.

Actions reflect leadership people, and the Bulls leadership sucks. And Thib's is the leader.

I don't think this is correct. I know people always praised Thibs when the Bulls were playing hard, but they wrong then just like you are now. Some players play hard. Some don't. The Bulls players are not playing hard right now, and that is on the players. Maybe some of them are just no as motivated for the long regular season. Who cares. They are still in the 3rd spot. As long as they stay 1 game over the 4th spot I don't care.

This is the first game after a lot of time off this month. The Bulls have played 6 games this month. Let's see how they are playing in a week or two. One game out of a really long break is not necessarily indicative of the entire rest of the season.

Sad to say, Derrick Rose isn't worthy of wearing the same uniform as his teammates. This Chicago equity that many want to cling to is an absolute joke.

Dude, just go start another stupid thread about trading a role player for another role player. My question is, why do you work around the edges, you fraud. Your form of trolling never involves Rose. Now what,...fraud?

I honestly don't even understand what you are talking about. Not living in the extremes makes me a troll and a fraud?

I guess there is no room for measured responses around here.

This game was a tale of two halves. In the first half, it was back & forth until we went on a run to close it out. Butler had 14 pts on very efficient shooting & Rose had 8 points. We only committed 6 TO's and had an 8 point lead heading into the break. Then the second half came around & the team decided to take the entire 3rd quarter off & lost because of it. 14 TO's (and baaaaad ones at that), countless offensive rebounds by the Pistons, & absolutely ZERO energy from the players. You aren't going to win when you turn the ball over 20 times for the tune of 26 points.

All this being said, the first game back from the All-Star break (which was nearly twice as long this year as in year's past) can be a tough game to win. That's not an excuse for the team's play tonight but it likely had a little bit to do with the effort out there. As Clone said, the Wiz & Hawks both got annihilated tonight. So did Portland as well, getting trounced by the Jazz. I think some of the players' minds hadn't come back from vacation yet. This is what you always worry about the game after the break, especially when it's against an undermanned, underdog team like the Pistons tonight.

With sustained energy and effort from the 1st half into the 2nd, and the outcome would've been a lot different. Instead, it was a shitty 2nd half effort and end result is what you expect. A bad loss to a bad team. I'm not going to overreact like most people do on here. However, if I see Thibs leave Hinrich out there AGAIN in the 4th for extended minutes, I'm going to drive to Kirk's house (He lives not far from my work & I know where) & hit him with a pipe to the back of the knee Jeff Gillooly-style. Watching the Pistons run the same curl play to Jodie Meeks 4 FUCKING TIMES IN A ROW and watching Kirk subsequently get burned 4 FUCKING TIMES IN A ROW was infuriating. Yet Thibs still left him in there until 3 mins left in the game. And what did Snell do immediately when he got into the game? Forced a TO on defense and then hit a driving layup on the other end!

Someone in Chicago, do me a favor and sneak down to the United Center and replace the sign with AT&T Center, this way the players might THINK it's an away game.

It's weird to see Hinrich get burned on a curl screen play like that so many times because Hinrich is the only guard on this team who is proficient at getting around screens. That said, it's clear that Tony should be getting those 4th quarter minutes ahead of Hinrich right now. Don't care that Hinrich outscored him, Snell's been rolling and if you give him those minutes, the confidence associated will give you more than Hinrich can give you at his best at this point.

However, for all the "get Hinrich out of the rotation" advocates out there, he only played 17 minutes this game and Snell got 15. Maybe a game or two and those numbers reverse themselves.

Snell, despite not filling up stat sheets, did a nice job IMO with positioning. Just think, 3 months ago he would have fouled out after 8 minutes , with 5 of 6 fouls being and1s. One step at a time with these young guys.

Kirk was Kirk. After he got smacked in the face in the 2Q he didn't completely recover. Like an old boxer getting rung and realizing they are down to their last 3-4 brain cells.

Hey man, I'm hoping I am wrong and you are right, but I'm just not seeing it anymore. I've tried my hardest to hang on to the positive things too, but I can't much longer. There is something wrong with the Bulls.

We're seeing a bunch of people who are blaming all kinds of different things, Rose, GarPax, Pau, Kirk, minutes, and everything else. The only common denominator is Thib's. It just doesn't make sense that the Bulls look so good one moment, and so bad the next.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that it is the coaching. I've seen this before. Heck, we saw the same thing with the Bears. There were 40 different ongoing reasons what was wrong with the Bears last year, at it ended up being the lack of leadership.

I've been a huge supporter of Thib's, I've even called him our secret weapon before. But I'm having a hard time believing that any more. Unfortunately, for some odd reason, I think he has lost the locker room, and we're seeing the main result of that, wildly inconsistent play.

You sure you watched the game.

Hinrich played well and out played his counterpart. . People who think that is a bad game are being silly.

He was 3 for 4. Hit a 3. He forced 4 TOs. He took the charge on Drummand. He had the two forced calls on screens by playing hard. He had the forced TO on the left wing.

Meeks made 2 baskets and was 2-8. One basket in the 4th.

Hinrich was not the reason the Bulls lost. I know there are some people who only see the bad in players, and that is how some feel about Hinirch. He played good defense, efficient offense in reasonable minutes. He did exactly what his role is. Brooks, Gibson, Mirotic are the ones that are suppose to score. I will take 3-4 and forcing 4 TOs in 17 minutes just about every game and he damn happy with that outcome.
