It was spent wisely to increase the selling value by the Tribune, so an unaware buyer like Ricketts would pay through the nose for a team with loads of bad money.

Was playing my buddy this week in fantasy baseball, and I was down by one in homeruns heading into this game. I have Aramis Ramirez and he had Yadier Molina. Felt pretty good about that going into the game...

I'm not that surprised that the Brewers are going on a stretch like this. Their offense is pretty good, the have a pretty nice rotation, and the backend of the bullpen is actually solid. I would be worried longterm about them if it wasn't for the fact that they will only have a few of those big guys on the roster in a few years.
