Opinions on Lepisto tonight?

I thought he looked rusty and he wasn't joining the offense as much as he was in the past, but he wasn't bad by any means. Of course he didn't see the ice a whole lot, but whatever.

Keep him in the lineup.

HockeyBuzz.com - Dee Karl - Al Vs. The BlackHawks Part 2 3 - 2 Loss update 10:32 pm

Tonight the Isles were victim to a very soft call on Josh Bailey that resulted in a Blackhawk’s goal by Hossa.

JT slid into Emery’s net with a little help from Hjalmarrson, but there was no penalty call on #4 BL on what could have been a hooking call.

The Isles were back to the power play as Patrick Kane threw an elbow because he was angry with Matt Martin’s check.

I like how opposing fans see ref calls completely different.

He probably looked rusty because he hasn't played at all this season. I think they should keep him in until he screws up.

There was a point in the game when Montador, Lepisto, Mayer, Brunette, and Carcillo were all out on the ice together. Says good things about Bowman.

Need OT to beat the Islanders? :lmao: Garbage asses.

Pretty accurate.

Most people would actually say this ignorantly though. A lot of people assume that the Islanders suck, but they aren't THAT bad. They have a lot of talent and have been hot lately.

I wasn't impressed with his game at all last night.

Definitely looked rusty. Looked unsure with the puck. At times he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Made some turnovers at our blue line and their blue line.

He is definitely our most mobile/skilled #6/7 guy (Scott and O'Donnell) but I just wasn't thrilled with his game.

Yea, an elbow that didn't even come close to making contact with the head. Hell, the elbow didn't even make contact with the body.

I agree. I've seen them play a few times this year and they've played some really solid hockey. It's a shame everything about their future is so up in the air.
