He did panic, Paxson has a history of making the wrong moves and picks, unless the right pick/move slaps him in the face a la D-Rose.
How?

Dont forget about the drafting on LaMarcus Aldridge then trading him for Tryus Thomas based off his potential, when the Bulls needed height at that position since giving up on Chandler and Curry.
Yes because a GM has NEVER made a mistake before in drafting. Paxson invented making mistakes.

Scroll up... or better yet name one move that wasnt a bad move.

So giving Ben Wallace all that money was a good move too right?
We didnt need a PG, we had J-Crossover... he gave up on him too fast.
Jay Williams was laying in a hospital bed with a leg doctors didn't even know for sure they wouldn't have to amputate.
How can you say he "gave up on him to fast" when Williams never played in the NBA ever again
He meant Jamal Crawford.
J Crossover=Jamal Crawford
They drafted Crawford to play PG/SG, exactly my point Paxson gave up too soon
Easy. Drafting Derrick Rose. Done. Next? Trading the 2005 1st round pick for Luol Deng in the 2004 draft, good move. That 2005 pick ended up as Nate Robinson. Who we now have.
Trading Eddy Curry for two 1st round picks. One was Tyrus who was traded to the Bobcats for their future 1st round pick. The other was Joakim Noah.
Not resigning Ben Gordon was one of the best moves he ever made.

He also drafted Nocinoi and Duhon who were very solid/capable players for the Bulls.
Noc was actually just a undrafted free agent coming out of Argentina. But yes, they were solid, though I never cared for Duhon, but he was a 2nd round pick.
