LoL
Kendall Gill just made fun of the Pistons like they arnt shit.
Then he said to go ahead and mark down tommorow nights game as a win.
Plus Ben Gordon might not play.
Its too bad because it could of been like a Bulls tryout for his future..
Shitty timing. He didn't play tonight either.
In 10 games against the Bulls as a Piston, Gordon averages 9.8 PPG on 34% shooting. How did those tryouts go?
I seriously don't get your obsession over Gordon. He's a good shooter. That's it. He can't defend, can't pass, can't handle the ball, and he's one of the smallest shooting guards in the league. He's listed at 6'3 [which is short for a SG] but he isn't taller than 6'2.
Even if he did play for the Bulls, Thibs wouldn't play him much because he could potentially hurt as as much as he could help us, which may not be much help. I mean.. look at Korver.. When he's out there and isn't hitting 3's, he's basically useless and he's hurting the team. Sure, he helps spread the floor on offense which is what Gordon would do as well, but when those kind of players are scoring they aren't doing anything. And Ben Gordon be as cold as he can be hot.
Instead of talking about the Bulls getting a SG that can help the Bulls in multiple ways, you keep calling for a guy who really wouldn't make us much better at all. If Ben Gordon really was such a difference maker, why hasn't he even made a dent with the Pistons? Hell, he struggles getting playing time there.. and they're a shitty team.
my dream is bringin eric gordon here
i know its most likely never gonna happen but i wish they would pull a boss move like lakers did with gasol

Now that is worth talking about...
We're at the point in the 'team building' process where adding these marquee players is a pipe dream, unless our FO decides to get really creative. We're touching the luxury tax threshold ($11 million over the cap), Derrick Rose's extension is set to kick in next year and we're going to need to extend a qualifying offer to Omer Asik if we intend on keeping him. I would assume, at the very least, that his salary will almost double, which would push him to nearly $4 million a season.
The problem is, other than Asik, only Scalabrine and JLIII's contracts are expiring, which yields less than $2 million in cap space (since I'm assuming resigning Asik is a lock to happen). With Rose's max deal, Deng, Boozer and Noah, that's $53 million wrapped up in four players. We'll have on year left of Korver, Brewer, and Watson (a little over $12 million in combined salary). Realistically, we can use some of that money to resign one of those players and look to flesh out the roster with the remaining money. With so much invested in our starting core, the most likely scenario is going to be adding role players around them and hoping to score a sleeper pick towards the end of the first round. With how deep this year's and next year's drafts figure to be, that could be the only way to keep the bench in tact.
I mean, I guess we could still try to ship off one of the starters (I still feel like Boozer would be the best to move, as he'd be easily replaced by Gibson and his contract could yield a few decent role players and maybe a draft pick). Our biggest deficiency is still lack of consistency at the shooting guard position and if we're able to be creative with our contracts, we could scoop one up VIA trade, or maybe land one of the many reasonably-priced options in free agency. Landry Fields, Carlos Delfino, Jodie Meeks, and even Ray Allen could all be had at decent prices. On top of that, there are some good restricted options, as well -- Lou Williams, OJ Mayo, er'body's favorite Eric Gordon, Courtney Lee and Brandon Rush.
Patience, grasshoppers. We've got options. Although, I still think we'll look to make a bigger splash in 2013.
Kirk Hinrich would be open to returning to the Bulls this offseason as a free agent.
"I wouldn't be opposed to it," Hinrich said. "It's still a ways away, and a lot can happen. We'll see. I have no preconceived thoughts on what will happen."
Chicago would be limited on what they can offer Hinrich as they are over the salary cap.
"I'm excited to have a choice instead of just going wherever the business sends me," Hinrich said. "But I haven't thought about it much. I've been so caught up in this whirlwind season. I was trying to get healthy and then working to get back to playing at a level I should be playing at. Now I'm thinking about the playoffs."
