Celts don't impress me that much, but Rose is definitely needed back to beat them. JLIII won't get the job done in Boston IMO.

I feel the same way. The C's aren't overly intimidating. With Rose, I'm not sweating it, without Rose, it's gonna be a long night.

Something to tell his grandkids at least. Anytime you get a Scal sighting you've done more than 1 thing right.

Yup. He earned that right. He can boast all he likes until the day he dies.

Pretty much. I doubt JL3 can put up anything close to what he did tonight. The Celtics are still a good defensive team and Rondo is a much much much better defensive player than John Wall. I think the couple days rest will do Rose good so he can be good to go Friday.

Just looked at the stats. My goodness this was a crappy crappy game for both teams. Both shot under 35% from the field. Bad shots were abound in the part of the game that I saw. Deng had a really rough shooting night...5/21. Good thing Washington sucks.

Deng is going to be dead by the end of the year if Thibs keeps riding him like this. Deng does not need to play 45 minutes against the worst team in the league on the 3rd game in a row.

I'm terrified that one day Deng's body will just break down from playing 41+ minutes every night. We need some more blowouts just to get this guy some rest because for some reason, there's no way Thibs will sit him. Someone needs to send coach a memo to cut Lu's minutes down.

Got back from the game a while ago.

I knew Washington was bad but my god...

No Rose, Hamilton, Watson.

Brewer, Boozer, Noah = pure garbage tonite

And the Great Wall gets breached and destroyed by Lucas.

I guess its true when the say "Washington is broken"

Why are we paying Scamilton again?

He can dress for every game, do the warm-ups and shoot around before the games and at halftime, but can't play because of his so called day to day minor injury.

Someone please explain the definition of minor injury to me because I think the dictionary is doing it wrong.

Silently awaits the "he's old, we're resting him for the playoffs" excuse.

He'll play when Deng has a season ending injury from his over-extended playing time.

That's been my worst fear so far this season. Of course besides something even worse happening to Rose. I'm confident in Butler backing up Deng, but Thibs isn't just yet. I mean these last few games have been ideal opportunities to get Jimmy some experience, but he only got 5 minutes total in those 3 games, and didn't even enter the Minnesota game. I understand him not playing against Minnesota, because they were threatening for awhile there. But why he doesn't play more than 3 minutes in the Detroit game and only 2 minutes in last nights game is beyond me.
