Im not giving up on this team
But..............

Surprised me they were able to get by the Nats with their SP and cubs horrible pen..

For me this year , winning the division and getting to NLCS was huge ..

But

Winning 4 of 7 from this Dodgers team that built perfectly and cubs with no dominant SP this year and a bullpen that depleted and sucks will be a miracle...

Im just gonna enjoy at least 4 more games of cubs baseball this month and look forward to seeing what they do to fix the broken parts and get ready to compete for WS next season..

How can people jump on the bandwagon at playoff time, pretending to know about baseball, and post nonsense?

Guy faced 12 men in 4 innings, walked two and gave up one big hit - a double. And a sac fly.

2 runs to a team that led all of baseball in wins, and people think that was poor?

One walk was BS, the other legit.

He sure as shit gives us a better chance going one more inning than this bullpen does.

Not jumping on the band wagon, I've been a cubs fan my whole life (hasn't been that long yet). I'll admit I overreacted to the bad inning, he wasn't bad overall he just had a bad result overall I guess you could say.

Bad outing overall???

He held them to 1 baserunner til the 5th..
He had 1 bad inning giving up the 2 walks and 1 hit

In today baseball , you get a SP to go 6 ip and 2 runs in a playoff game your team has a chance..

The unfortunate part is cubs bullpen suck ass so far outside davis and dodgers pen are one of the best if not the best

I'm so glad that we took out Q early, took out Almora for Zobrist and left Schwarbs in. Our defense is shit in the outfield. Oh, and on top of that Rondon and Monty look like straight garbage.

Im sure ill get ragged for this but my thinking for this offseason is i wouldnt be surprise if Baez Schwarber and Heyward are at least on the block to see what offered for them...

Not saying all 3 will be moved but at the very least Epstein will see what he can get for them..
