why?, Daniels losing won't downgrade his performance over the year
Agreed. But you know what the narrative would have been if Washington had gone to the SB —- especially with our media.

Poles is definitely breathing a sigh of relief

I imagine he cares very little about meatball narratives which don't affect the team in any way. No GM is altering his processes or thinking due to sports radio hosts and moronic fans.

The one man loving this score more than anybody — Ryan Poles
The damage is done, though I guess one could argue it could be worse… but there’s no denying Daniels would be insanely high in a league-wide redraft. He’s one of the most coveted players in the game today

Eagles just need one long touchdown drive to put this game out of reach. Also, **** Jayden Daniels.

Wrong. The previous year Poles got hammered in his press conferences about the success of CJ Stroud — and “look at how far he is taking the Texans” press questions, etc.

Moreover, his job hinges on picking the right guy. Now with Daniel’s losing, it was just great year by JD. But if JD had taken them to the SB???? That would have set the bar at a crazy high level for NEXT YEAR.

Poles would have been raked over the coals by our media. Taking them to the SB is a thing hard to live down…. or live up to.
