As is normal when two close calls go opposite ways, both for one team, fans will go nuts saying that MLB favors the Cubs.

Cards' board is probably going nuts right now, but I won't go check.

Well, if he is, I can't be. :)

I am comfortable with Chap in the 9th. But if he enters in the 8th, Joe is nuts.

Get this 5th run and make it a moot point.
He could be wrong about Maddon putting Chapman in the 8th and you could be wrong about us losing if he does. At this rate it'll be an insurmountable lead anyway.

Hit it out, Rizzo. Joe is going for the two inning "save".

If he is wrong about USING Chapman in the 8th, and my prediction is ONLY based on Chapman in the 8th, we can't both be wrong. If Chapman doesn't start the 8th, I am neither right nor wrong, as it was conditional.

You got me. I really should give up drinking on week nights.

What, exactly, is that ump looking at / hearing?

Staring directly at Dex' hand, and it was not close.

I think so too, unless he misuses the pen. We''ve blown both games when he has done so, and both times led by more than one. There is no reason to abandon the pen that did well all year. He overmanages. But fortunately, Roberts did too.
