My favorite teams
The Cubs are doing alright. There is always tomorrow.
Wasn't expecting a win today even against the lowly Astros. Rodrigo Lopez was starting, that's pretty much all I need to say.
This starting rotation was way overvalued by management during spring training. Despite the injuries to Wells and Cashner, the Cubs haven't been getting enough consistent production out of Dempster, Garza and Zambrano.
Though, I will say Dempster has been much better in May. Hopefully when Garza comes back he'll get it going and seeing Wells get into a groove would be nice too...
Just wait till CO comes in defending the rotation like he did all winter....

I still will defend the rotation. 20-15 when we have our starting pitcher from the original rotation going.
I will take that. If we were healthy I honestly think we would be at the very least in contention.
Can't win when you have guys like Doug Davis and Rodrigo Lopez taking up starts.
Lineup: Another bad one
Fuke RF,Barney 2B,Castro SS, Pena 1B, A-Ram 3B , DeWitt LF, Campana CF Soto C ,Z....................first thing A-Ram to 5 i can handle.....Why the **** isnt Colvin in LF....Why is Campana 7 and Soto 8th? That makes NO SENSE....
U forget that Quade is still the manager....a competent manager would do better
Im actually starting to agree.....just read article where Quade told media that DeWitt would get most of playing time in LF while Sori out :crying:
That is true. As much as I hate it, maybe it'll rise his stock and JH can trade his ass.
or it will lower everyone's stock and we can fire everyones ass
Why does seemingly everyone on here want Dewitt gone so bad? He doesn't get any playing time until an entire starting outfield goes on the DL. Yet more people were upset with Theriot leaving.
