I dunno, that's what I thought at first, but upon the second look at it, it looks like he had the ball in his glove and knocking into the wall is what popped the ball out. Castro definitely shouldn't have made the throw home, not only was that run going to score, but he allowed Young to advance to 3rd. Then Geo gets charged with the error even though Castro's throw was bad.
