I like how they mentioned early in the broadcast that "we're going to have a more generous strike zone tonight, to speed up the pace of play".

"Oh, really? Why is that?"

"Well......Kershaw is a star, and he really hasn't been very good in the postseason, so....."

"Oh, OK. Why not just move the fuckin' bases to 100 feet?"

"That's ridiculous".

"Yes, it is. But no more so than changing the zone for your star".

Seems it could be construed as helping the Cubs, since Kershaw is already going to throw strikes. He only walked 11 all year. BUT....he walked three in one game vs the Nats, so they apparently need to help him with his postseason performances.

Let's just get a guy on on, and then get the HR. He certainly won't leave the game due to pitch count.
