If this is true and he's suiting up for a game tonight and missing out on a possible celebration here at Wrigley....I think he's gonna try to play should the Cubs beat LA. In my mind that's the only reason he wouldn't be here...gotta watch and see if he's in the Cubs dugout tonight.

Adding a rusty Schwarber to DH means playing a man short in Games 3,4,5.

Not ss excited as most. They add him to AFL roster meaning he plays one game before WS starts.

Looks to me likethey're trying to get him ABs before 2017.

Sounds perfect.

Actually if he checks out; he'd be the perfect dh for possibly 4 games in clev and with their lack of lhp my guess is soler would be left off.

End of the day it's alot to ask a guy to miss 159 games + post season and jump right into the lineup in the world series....no mlb pitching for 6.5 months? I'd be a little surprised if he's really on the roster.

I am warming to the idea as the minutes pass. I had held out hope....would be interesting to say the least.

If he has been saying for months he hoped to be back by season's end, it was offset by repeated stories that it wasn't happening. .

I would be shocked if Heyward was removed from the roster. My guess would be Soler, if Schwarber is available.
