I'm very much looking forward to this series, got a pretty good feeling about it.

Let's go Hawks!

cant underestimate the fact that we get Brouwer and possibly Bolland back also...
add that with a forward core with Toews, Kane, Hossa, Sharp and a hot goaltender...Vancouver should be worried

Yep. Sharpie with a few days to rest that knee as well. He looked better on Friday than he did today.

I really, really HOPE you are right. Nonetheless, we have had that core for the entire season and we backed into the 8th seed of the playoffs.

We should be just as worried as the Canucks.

TY.

If I am the Nucks, I am worried about this round. seriously.

Hawks definitely should have confidence knowing that they've handled Vancouver in the past.

I'll be damned if Vancouver isn't a thousand times more motivated than the Hawks though. They've got way more on the line and one guy in particular has to know he can't fail again. Whether Vancouver can handle the enormous expectations... we'll see.

I thought Vigneault was a massive part of Vancouver's failure last year and is the sole reason they lost game 4. You have to imagine he's out of town if they blow this series.

So much to think about. Can not wait to see the games.

Every time I pick the Hawks in the poll they lose so I'm picking Vancouver.

We've got their number in my opinion although I think this series is when we're going to miss Buff the most.

PS Hopefully Sharp will be closer to 100% when we start the series.

If Bickell, Dowell, Kopecky and/or Brouwer want to earn a raise- they'll watch last year's series and realize they need to become a regular net presence in this series.

If nobody steps up, the Hawks are in trouble. It's not an easy job at all, but it's necessary and any one of those guys can do it.

Fail at this IGT, nothing about Stalberg in this poll.

I wonder if Johnson gets some time against his former mates in this series if Bolland returns.
