Stop playing like pussies.

When Sharp is playing with the hardest edge of all of your lineup- you're going to lose. When Sharp has the most net presence of any player on your team- you're going to lose.

Get tough. Play dirty. Last year, game 3 of the series. Byfuglien owned the game by owning the front of the net. He scored 3. Game 4, Vancouver was pissed and took a TON of stupid penatlies against him. Toews burned them on the PP.

Get under their skin, play hard. Vancouver gets it right now. The Hawks do not.

Bunch of..... pussies.

They don't have it this year. They're going to have to play/win without that toughness. That oreskovech hit at the whistle on stalberg in the 1st was proof. Guys on the ice milled around instead of getting in there like swimwear. No one got in his face.

The thing is, there aren't tough players and wimp players. Toughness is nothing more than a decision to play hard. Anyone can make that decision. Tonight, only Sharp and Toews made that decision while pretty much everyone on Vancouver did.

You can point to various big men in the league and say "hey, you need size to be a tough player". Not true. Bigger guys are often lacking super skills and then make the decision to play harder to compensate. Look at the Hawks bigger guys... none of them made that decision tonight (or this whole season really).

Anyone can hit.

Absolutely. He was incredible. Two early, fast, tough goals against could ruin a lot of goalies. Especially in that environment-- Vancouver fans are absolute maniacs. 1st ever playoff game with your team getting worked in every facet... if he would have folded, I wouldn't have been completely disappointed.

Guy is good.

VAN got away with a lot of questionable hits. High forearms, etc. Eventually those will get called.

Very impressed with Crawford. Without the deflection on the first goal and the breakaway, he was real solid in the net last night. Overall, we were bullied and controlled all night by the Canucks. They were way more physical than us. If they know they can get away with hits, they'll continue all series. Need someone to step up and be an enforcer. Physicality is a huge factor in this series.

Daniel & Henrik Sedin both didn't even play 20 mins

Yet, Q plays Toews & Kane almost 24 mins?
