It really pisses me off when I turn on WGN expecting to watch a hockey game and fucking America's Funniest Home-Videos is on instead.

**** you, AFHV. :angryfinger:

Happens to me all the time. Only the Bulls, Sox, and Bears actually show on WGN America.

Toews had another goal in the game. Good candidate for Hart, maybe? Or finally gets the Selke?

Way to early to talk about the Hart, but with Kesler and Datsyuk not having stellar years, the Selke could be a very good possibility. Toews will always be in the conversation and he is currently leading the league in faceoffs, playing some stellar defense, and putting up a good amount of points.

I was just joking about the Hart thing. He has been in the top 3 the past three years. He deserves to finally win it. And it felt weird watching the award show last year and seeing zero Blackhawks awards.

Did anyone else have a horribly unwatchable HD feed from WGN? The third period was so choppy and the sound kept cutting out... I had to give up and go to the radio.

That was shitty.

Big win though. Good to see Crawford give up just one. Kings weren't very good, but the Hawks were better. Nice ugly goals.

:yep:, broadcasts have been fucked up lately (last game it kept flashing to a picture of Carbomb in the box).

Bolland for Selke!

As much as it is supposed to be defensive...Bolland will never put up enough points to be considered for the Selke. He is damn good at what he does though - figured I would toss that in there even though I think you are joking.

Broadcast was terrible. I had some other people text me saying the same thing.

He would be in talks if he wasn't on the same team on Toews and if he didn't get hurt so much. Less injuries, more points.

Negative on Bolland for Selke.

Selke is as much about defense as the Norris is about defense... which is to say hardly at all.

However, a few weeks ago Pierre Lebrun mentioned Bolland as an early dark horse Selke candidate. He basically said that his play was what the award was created for but that the odds of him being noticed for it were slim to none.

That's what I was trying to say. Selke was created to award players like Bolland.

Awesome game. The Hawks played a solid three periods with very few mistakes. The Kings were kept out of their offensive zone entirely a lot of the game. I was impressed with all 4 lines. None of the Hawks looked like they were on the 6th game of the long circus trip.

Kieth played well and Toews came through with the winning goal by putting himself in perfect position when the puck came around behind the net... catching Quick out of position.

You would be amazed at how many Hawks fans were at the game. There was a lady from Chicago sitting next to me who was down in San Diego visiting her daughter in San Diego for Thanksgiving.

My GF was on fire. She kept talking shit to all of the Kings fans and earned her new nickname "Mighty Mouse".

All in all it was a good solid road game for the Hawks. Great seats, great fans, great win.

John Scott surprisingly played well at forward. Q said after the game that he scratched Carcillo from the game so that Scott would still play.

Yeah, my feed was pretty bad as well. So much so, that at times I could've sworn I was watching AFHV... :shifty:

**** you, WGN.
