Better gimmicks to decide a game that really doesn't matter to these teams, than a 4 OT game with injuries and gassed players and bad hockey...
Though, I'm glad playoff games are settled differently.

I'm sick and tired of these shootout losses. We have more Overtime/Shootout losses than any other team in the NHL. I actually miss ties as opposed to this redundant crap.
