Game Ova, Yankees take it 3-1. Colon pitched 8 innings and Rivera closed it. Buerhle gave up a 3 run homer to Cano, but that was it.

A series split with the Yanks is better than I expected, but a 12-3 loss in the finale was downright embarrassing. No excuse for that.

Now Rongey is using a NASCAResque analogy of "the pack" (Minnesota, Sox, Detroit) drafting together to catch up to Cleveland. Unfortunately, the Sox will not be part of "the pack" much longer.
