Oh god lol...

The Bulls sell out every game and have for years. But let's just be happy with the status quo because we could be the Kings! Yayyyyy team.

Do you ever have a post with substance? They seem to be mostly about shitty Chicago fans (which is moronic), or how everything is going to be just dandy. Especially when you set the bar so high as getting eliminated in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Weeeeeeee!

he is just trolling on here trying to get into it with anyone and everyone he can...pretty much ignore time for that boy

I save all the substance posts for you guys and your depressing attitudes. The game doesn't even begin until the playoffs, yet you all have already marked them down as first round exits. Or better yet, the classic "lose for a lottery pick" mentality.

Until the bulls actually suck at basketball, I'm not gonna parade around like they're garbage. That is a complete waste of time, and just isn't factual at all.

Have fun though.

Yes, trolling. The classic "trolling by being optimistic about the home team." Such troll!

Don't be ridiculous. Sorry I don't follow the "blow everything up, trade everyone, fire everyone" mentality. Guess that's trolling doe.

Until the Bulls suck at basketball? Hmm....a pretty subjective term but they sure have been sucking lately in my estimation. Never did I say a 1st round exit but first two rounds....which if you paid attention the past few years, has been happening like clock work. It's amazing that some fans actually try to be objective with their hometown team. I guess I'll have to wait to continue this amazing conversation with you until then. Gonna miss ya, buddy.

trolling is when you bring up a thread from about a year ago, regarding a player that isn't even currently playing and who isn't in the news to try and stir up shit. and you claim youre mister positive and yet you bash noah every chance you get? gee, soooo positive

ha I wish he could chuck it from 3 at that rate.

and factoring in past seasons for derrick seems silly at this point...did he used to be a 45% shooter? sure, he also used to be an MVP too...but that was the past and I don't think anyone expects him to get back to that level again
lol well I'm sure you know what I meant by that. 41% from 3 would be amazing.

Rose actually shot better before his MVP year and only like 43% the year after. His higher percentages align with him shooting very few 3s, something he has generally gone back to of late. I'd say his current playstyle matches pretty well with his first couple years in the league where he was shooting 48-49%. I don't expect him to get up that high, and he still takes 3s, so I don't think 45% is ridiculous. He might not be scoring 25 per game on 45%, but that percentage is definitely attainable with his current shot selection, assuming he doesn't get murdered on every drive in every game.

I agree his current play style is similar to his MVP year and all, but you can play a certain way all you want, he just isn't as effective at it as he once was. I just don't see anyway possible the bulls ever win a finals with him as the starting PG. I wont feel much hope about the bulls again until derrick is gone, so looks like I got about another year and a half to wait till he is gone. its sad but true

If Rose could maintain his level of efficiency that he has over the past month and a half or so, get his PPG up to about 21-23, and get his assists up to preferably 6-7, the Bulls have a small sliver of hope in the playoffs. Of course, Jimmy, Pau have to keep playing well and guys who haven't really lived up to their end like Niko, Doug, and Snell would have to play consistently well which they haven't done all year. Could all of this happen? Of course. Should anyone expect this to happen or be optimistic that it will? I don't think any intelligent person would reasonably expect that but hey, ya never know right?

I wasn't even saying MVP, but yeah I agree, he's not at that level and in all likelihood the Bulls go nowhere with him on the team. But the problem goes beyond Derrick Rose. And let's face it, he was the best hope we've had in over a decade. I can't hold injuries against him.

A little over a month ago you all were saying how rose was garbage, washed up, etc etc. Just shitting on him left and right.

Now there's a sliver of hope if he just barely steps his numbers up from the month of January.

Yet I'm the unintelligent one. :yep:

Stop putting everyone into the same. Many people were not shitting on Rose.

for sure there are other issues on the team, its just those other issues aren't making max contract $$ like derrick is. if derrick was only making 5 mil a year people wouldn't complain as much about the production or lack thereof. I don't blame him for the injuries but they did happen and IMO its time to move on if at all possible

Again, I can't hold the contract against him. He earned it at the time and then got the shaft from life every season since. That doesn't mean it's not time to move on, but I just have a hard time blaming Rose over anyone else just because he makes the most money. Technically, he is the biggest issue because of all that and I don't deny that, but the situation is what the situation is.

im not blaming rose either, but the injuries happened either way. yes, he earned that contract when it was given to him no doubt. again, that doesn't change the fact that they have not seen a return on that investment(playing caliber wise not financially).

Yes, but it's no one's fault. Just an unfortunate situation that they've had to deal with. I think they've done ok relatively speaking...even though you can argue they should've just tanked.

Did you read what I wrote? Obviously not...

If Rose continues to get better and comes close to his MVP type impact...

If Butler and Pau continue to play well...

If Niko, Doug, Snell, Bobby consistently produce which they haven't done all season.

If the defense doesn't play as soft as wet tissue paper...

Yes, if all of that happens, we have a sliver of hope (in the East). Reading comprehension is a skill. This is more than just Rose.

God damn the bulls and their perennial playoff births. The WORST!

just making the playoffs and winning a round is fine....when your teams average age is 24

not when your average age is 28. this is a supposed contender and you're criticizing folks for being put out about this supposed contender playing very uninspired basketball (just like they did last year) and sitting on a near .500 record.

Reminds me of the guys who go out to the bar and bring home a hideous fat chick but go "Hey, better than nothing right?" No.....it's not lol
