Great game. Carcillo was great, Hossa was strong. Toews played hard. The 3rd line is just incredibly good.

Despite what Eddie said, I didn't like Keith's game. The blow out was one thing, but even after that, he had one really bad shift that should have ended with a Phoenix goal.

But hey- hard to complain about defense when they limit a team to 15 shots. Great game.

Love Jamal Mayers too. He's been great since the start of camp.

edit: I lost $100 betting that Foley would give his "Q thinks whoever comes out ahead in a 2 man advantage usually wins the game" speech in the 1st. No dice :(

Solid game by the Blackhawks tonight.

I thought that was Keith's best game of the season. Take away the blowout, that is pretty hard to count against him in my eyes - it happens. He was getting shots on net - what a difference.

I thought the PP looked a lot better. They started with the entry by carrying the puck in instead of dumping it, made a big difference.

Frolik/Bolland/Bickell continues to be the best line we have. Having a 3rd line that shutdowns the 1st line and scores themselves...HUGE.

The only player I thought played poorly was Leddy. Way too many turnovers. I don't think Leddy is a top 4 dman at this point and he is still learning on the job. The issue I have, if he isn't a top 4 dman right now and he doesn't play the type of game you would like a number 5/6 guy to play, what do you do with him? I still would be fine with trading Leddy for a #2 center if one is out there that makes sense...but that is just me.

I agree... Leddy was loose. Montador and Odonnel have been so steady that Id like to see Leddy get paired with one of them.

Keith Seabrook
Hjalamasson Montador
Leddy ODonnel
