No, we were .500 a few times last year. Had we won Opening Day it would have been the first time since 2009 that we were over .500.

Still a long time since we've been .500, so I'm loving it!

St. Louis is winning, so if they win, Houston wins, and Milwaukee beats Cincinnati, it can be a 6-way tie for first place! Which would mean we would be first place, because it goes alphabetically by city. :)

We weren't at or over .500 at all last year. I think we lost like all three to Atlanta before winning a game and then we never caught back up. I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure we have been at .500 since '09.

We won the 3rd game of the season, we were .500 a couple times, I'm positive.

EDIT: We were 13-13 at one point in May, and .500 twice before that.

Yeah, I just looked it up. The 2010 Cubs were 4-4, 10-10 and 13-13.

We were never over .500 though. So, that must be what I was thinking.

Ya, but we'll be over .500 tomorrow. :D

Good late rally today, Cubbies. Pitch counts still too high this early in the season tho. We'll see what happens -- nice to see a late-inning rally...didn't have too many of those last season.

wow....soriano and dewitt came up clutch

although it is kind of depressing(yet at the same time upbeat because we won) to realize that right now we are tied for the best record of all last year

I honestly think Sori has a good season this year. Not sure why, just a gut feeling. DeWitt - I'm not so high on, but it's nice to see him come up w/ a BIG game-winning PH double. Every good NL team has a solid pinch hitter...maybe BD is ours?

The pen impressed me the most, not a shock since it was Kerry Wood, Sean Marshall, and Carlos Marmol getting the nods.

STL's getting crushed right now. And if Milwaukee beats Cincinnati, we are tied for 1st.

He didn't disappoint me last year, he improved over 2009 by a bit, so I was pleased.

Improving over zero isn't that impressive.

He very well could have been just as bad agin, instead he turned in a decent season.

You are right he could have been as bad. That doesn't make it excusable. He is getting paid to be a 4 to 5 win player not a 2 win guy. He did not have a decent season.

If he was some rookie or journeyman it was a decent season he had another terrible season.

Ah nice. I rented it because usually after a week I get bored.
