Hope Poles was really paying attention, talk about domination in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
And maybe he’ll realize that you don’t pay off the ball linebackers. Eagles won it with a castoff LB’er from the Saints. **** you Edmunds!

Poles has literally built this team the opposite

Phi also keeps drafting DL even when they don’t need to. That’s why their DL is so good

That’s Super Bowl champion Jalen Carter to you!

And look, a running QB won the big one!

Another bad day to be a bears fan :(
Yeah this sucks.

So is it just me or does anyone else that this post game is very boring? Nobody really seems that excited. All being very humble and not showing a lot of emotion. Just feels off to me 🤷🏼

It’s because it was scripted.

So who dethrones them next year in the AFC? It’s really down to these teams:

Bills
Bengals
Ravens

The rest are just playoff fodder(Texans, Chargers, Broncos) or just straight up trash.

Depends on who the chiefs lose this year.

They still have one of the best defenses, the best QB, and the best HC.

If they don’t lose multiple players they will be back next year imo unless the bills find a way to take the next step.

Bengals needs burrow to stay healthy and many upgrades on defense.

Ravens could be in the mix but I don’t think Lamar is consistent enough

I think the Bills go for broke this offseason. They are going to push all their chips to the middle of the table.

I would’ve put Allen in the same position as Lamar but this year I think he proved to have turned a corner with less mistakes and hero ball.

The bills are the best contenders imo but again this really depends on the chiefs losing some players

I still don’t think McDermott is the guy to get them over the hump too.

The Eagles have been good for so long that they seemingly never need to draft for need. They just pick the best talents on the board… and it seems talent always falls right in their laps. Teams as good as that shouldn’t get a guy like Jalen on the cheap… or even Cooper DeJean as a 2nd. They also consistently draft proven talent from top schools, so it’s like they never miss on a pick.

But kinda back to your point, it’s why I’m stunned when people want to always see the draft as a place to fill needs… as in, glaring holes. You shouldn’t have holes. The draft should be where to load up on the best talent you can, especially early. And unless you are loaded at a position, you still take BPA and it just means depth and flexibility.

I think they come right back and win the Super Bowl, lol.

I mean, I hope not, but I kind of just always assume the Chiefs will find a way. Usually they prove that supposition correct.

The Bills might be broken.

I still like the Bengals’ chance. I think they’re legitimately the only AFC team that doesn’t let the Chiefs in their head.

They regularly beat them during the regular season. They beat them in the playoffs a few years ago. They should’ve beaten them again the next time they met in the playoffs (Mahomes’ sideline flop for the flag saved the Chiefs late in the game).

I think the Bengals aren’t scared.
I think their Bills have to be demoralized, but we’ll see.
The Ravens? Meh, maybe. So hard to tell with them.

Trey Smith is really the only loss that would truly sting. A couple of starters will be free agents, but no one the Chiefs can’t replace with someone who’s maybe even better.

They’re gonna be right back, probably.
