What has Thibs won as a HC?
Coach of the year, two #1 seeds, a #4 seed, and a #5 seed.
But if the question is asking about championships.. he's won zero.

A deep team would have better guards and SFs than we do. Dunleavy is not a NBA starter. Hinrich doesn't belong in the NBA. We hardly play Moore and have a 2nd round pick on the bench who NEVER PLAYS. So........NO, this is not a deep team. COntrast this team and its depth to the bench mob team with Asik, Gibson and company. THAT was a deep team. That 2nd team could beat half of the teams in the NBA. THAT team played against the other team's starters and more than held their own and a lot of times increased the lead. I am over-joyed about this Bulls win and for Moore but the only guys on the 2nd unit today who are better than those guys are Mirotic and a more experienced Gibson.
Dunleavy was a starter before signing here... you do know that right? Not to mention, you mention the bench mob... Guess who that team started at SG in 2010-11... Keith Bogans...

Moore never plays, but just proved maybe he should be. Hinrich wasn't terrible until this year... and 2nd round picks rarely get playing time unless they just wow the coaches in practices, and then games. I'm guessing Bairstow hasnt done that.

And I'm sorry but a starting lineup of Asik-Taj-Korver-Brewer-Watson wouldn't be much better than the 2001-2002 Bulls.

Hinrich has been bad for a while.

bulls are getting points at home against a Durant less thunder team...interesting.

let me know when you guys want to get in on my bulls betting...been killing it :fap:

great game though from both teams. it was impressive to see niko have a poor shooting night but still find a way to put up points by getting to the foul line. something tells me he has noticed the way butler gets to the line and figured hey I can do that too. then on top of it hitting the 3 in the clutch down the stretch with a man all over him. niko is why Gibson will get traded this offseason for a wing player

What % of NBA coaches have won a Championships without inheriting a team that has gone deep into the playoffs in their first 5 seasons. That's the real question. :)

I think that Scotty Brooks really isn't a very good HC. That entire game was free lance by them and the end of the game stuff by the Thunder was stupid. I'll take it, though:)

I think the injuries have forced Thib's to rotate his players more. Thib's is too predictable sometimes, he'll play the same defensive lineup at the end of games. Sometimes, he needs to play an offensive lineup at the end of games to win. He has a hard time with this, imo.

At least give him credit for acknowledging the hot hands lately. Closing the games with Mirotic instead of just sticking with Noah and Gasol. Using Moore over Hinrich. The offense/defense swap with Brooks.

What makes you think I wasn't? :dunno: I posted all the stuff I liked he was doing during the games. I said he needed to play Niko at the end of games and he has. Moore needed to play and he did. I'm happy McD is getting some minutes.

He started Brooks against the Wiz instead of Kirk, which I liked. I like that he's been alternating Pau and Noah. The only thing I haven't liked the last couple games is that he insists on playing Kirk at the end of the 3rd, and too far into the 4th.

I wish he'd play Brooks and Moore at the same time instead of alternating Kirk between the two. The fact that he can't let go of Kirk shows his stubbornness, imo. The same stubbornness that usually makes him play the wrong combo of players at the end of games when everyone is healthy.

I like what he's done, but I want to continue to see it moving forward, and especially when Jimmy and Rose come back. I think Taj playing at the end of games is wrong, I don't care how good of defense Thib's thinks he plays.

And just to add, Moore was hot early on against OKC and had a great 2nd quarter, but Thib's went with Kirk instead of him in the 3rd and well into the 4th. I posted about it early in the game thread.

moore hasn't played a ton of minutes all year, maybe subbing kirk in for a breather in the 3rd helped enable moore to have the energy to go off in the 4th quarter like he did? just playing devils advocate and giving thibs a lil love in the process
