Ed Farmer said something really smart (stop laighing) de aza likes to hit. Not having to worry about leadoff duties allows him to just hit.

Not going to lie, I saw De Aza in the line up today & was a bit baffled even with him being a left-handed bat but he, along with Eaton & Abreu.


Although I'm still not sure they can truly compete this year, we got a look at how bright the future may be with this team.


Also, not sold on Lindstrom at the closer.

Garcia and Abreau impressed me with their approach in their ABs and how they hit the ball where it was pitched. Both of those guys are big time strong. I hate Flowers. Get rid of him and bring up a catcher from single A or something. He makes me sick at bat. I swear that he'd strike out with the ball put on a tee for him.

Since I moved to the west coast it's damn near impossible to keep up with this team unless they're playing the Mariners.

Between the internet and satellite TV I would think that it’s easier than ever to stay up to date on your team when you live out of state.

You can pretty much read every article, listen to every radio show and watch every game you want. The only thing you can’t do is see them in person.
