My favorite teams
Team sucks.
People rag on Rios alot but Dunn could be hitting under .200 if he doesn't get his head outta his ass.
Batting average: the only stat ever that is acceptable in judging a hitter.
so you guys hate Youk yet?
Nope. And I won't hate him until his OPS is under .500 and he hits only one HR and makes bad plays in the field. And bats under .200

What is so hard to understand about this Joe? The only stat that Rios is better than Dunn is batting average. Dunn gets on base way more. Dunn hits for way more power. Dunn is producing at a near elite level this season. Rios is producing at best as an average corner OF and paid to be well above it. That is why people rag him.
And it's not like people are even ragging on him that much. Nobody has said anything about him in forever. Joe is just a delusional idiot about it.
Rios is paid to be better than Dunn in every stat, and he isn't. That's why people would like to see him traded. There's a lot that money could be spent on. Just because Rios is hitting well doesn't mean that his contract doesn't suck.
Dunn is making more than Rios this season. The difference is that Rios's production is average at best for his position compared to Dunn being above average.
Which is why I said Rios is paid to be better than Dunn. If you pay a corner outfielder that much, he better be pretty fucking good.
A DH has to produce more than a corner outfielder. Rios is paid to be above average for his position and he isn't. Dunn is also paid to be above average for his position and he is. That is the difference.
Yep. Dunn is an All-Star DH, IMO. Rios not an all-star RF. But I will admit he's a lot better in right than he is in center.
A case could certainly be made for Dunn to be an All-Star. Ortiz has been better pretty clearly and then it becomes an interesting debate between Dunn and Encarnacion over who has been better.
That's a tough one. Encarnacion has been really good. I'm saying Dunn is an all-star DH just because his numbers have been good enough to be an all-star.
But yeah, I'd like to see more than one White Sox player in the all-star game. Maybe Konerko, Sale, and Dunn?
Encarnacion might get the nod over Dunn given that Konerko and Sale probably get in. Whereas with Bautista's terrible start to the year what Blue Jay is making the All-Star game?
