I'd be fine with that. Other than Hudson playing second.

Yeah, because your boy is smoking with the bat. :rolling:

Better than Hudson.

.178/.245/.277

That's Hudson's slash line. AKA. It fucking sucks.

.233/.290/.365

That's Beckham's. I can't tell which one is better.

I thought the bigger numbers were better, but I'm not sure.

Adam "all or nothing" Dunn still batting 3rd & close to hitting below .200

He shouldn't even get consideration for comeback player of the year.

I note that despite his horrible batting average, Adam Dunn still gets on base 35% of the time. Truly a 3TO guy

TTO is Adam Dunn's middle name.

That's how the Adam Dunn hat trick was invented. An Adam Dunn hat trick is all three TTOs

I also note that some fans don't understand the utility of a guy who can get on base.

That's how runs are scored. The problem is that a fan will see Dunn strike out or ground out if the first two guys in the lineup get on base and get pissed because he isn't a "good third hitter". When in reality, he actually brings in a lot of runs. They're just usually in clumps.

Sounds like baseball fans aren't so different after all ;)

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
Now that I've since cooled off: I admit I was over reactinig earlier, but its not like Detroit is better all of the sudden.

They're hot, and the Sox are cold. It sucks we had to go head-to-head at the worst possible time, but its whatever.

Tigers, too me, are still just Verlander, Cabrera, Fielder (who only has 15 home runs btw) and then just pre-cum. Jackson and Berry have inflated BABIPs, they should regress.

I think Detroit probably stays above .500, but its far from over.

I agree. This is exactly how I feel. The Tigers are really hot right now and the guys that aren't those big names are producing. It won't last long.

They're just like the Sox were earlier in this season. They're good, but they aren't as good as they seem while they're winning.
