Home & home can be rough, even if Colorado isn't playing well this year. Minny beat us in a shootout this year as well, if I recall correctly and they have been playing much better lately (5-2-1 in their last 8) so it should be a close game!

I am more concerned about the amount of games the Hawks have piled up in this recent stretch. By the end of Wednesday they've played what 4 games in 7 days? The depth has been awesome but it is getting tested a lot here with the injuries and wear and tear. I am hopeful that the streak will live through the week, but it is incredible to think about the difference in opinion about this matchup now compared to at the end of the offseason before the lockout.

Minnesota is quite solid. They're looking good this year. Parise is playing well for them.

Some news to report from the morning practice via Kuc...
Bolland is back on the ice and centering Sharp/Kane. He will play tonight with Kruger dropping down to the 4th line.
Frolik is not on the ice and Q said he was "doubtful", is supposedly ill.
Don't want to break up that third line but I really liked the offensive presence that Kruger brought over Bolland. Never thought I would say "offense" and "Kruger" in the same sentence unless negative until now.

They should keep Kruger at 2C and "ease" Bolland in at 3 or 4C....

OT: Madden fan?? Why is it sooooo damn easy to pass in this years game? I can blow up a defense for 600+ yards on all madden. Its shitastic to be honest.

Yeah, it took me awhile to figure out some plays that work but once I did ... man. Just too easy. Hester's speed is still untouchable in that game, too. Wish it worked that way in real life.
