To be fair, HW did have a point there. I thought it was a valid argument, though I sided with the Saad camp because Saad has a higher ceiling. I get that the Blackhawks need/want to win now, but at the same time, they have to continue to groom and develop prospects.

Damn snow held me up, luckily I had the gf dvr the game for me.

Awesome first period, only two (three) guys who I thought didn't play well were Shaw (bad turnover) and the paring of Rozsival/Leddy (turnovers).

Great first period by Saad. He made it all happen on his first goal with a real nice keep in until Hossa got the puck and then went to the dirty area to make it happen. He has some great skill and the more patience he gets (patience and confidence probably go hand and hand here) the better.

Bickell is playing great again. Started slow (so did the whole third line) this year but has really been picking it up and is playing that physical game that everyone wants out of him.

Would really like to see the Blackhawks keep the pressure on Minnesota here. Sure it is a 3 goal lead but plenty of game left.

If anyone was wondering why Harding isn't the back up right now, here is an article on why. Hopefully his doctors are able to get him going on the right track. I don't know what medication he is on right now, but I know the main ones and the side effects...tough stuff and a lot of people experience severe flu symptoms on the common medicine for 3 - 6 months at the beginning.

Gotta love that the halfway point of the season is tomorrow and the Blackhawks are 20-0-3. Definitely lost in the streak is the fact that the Blackhawks have won 10 straight.

Avalanche are definitely a tougher team than people (and the standings) probably give them credit for. They definitely have some firepower up front and just got Landeskog and O'Reilly back. Should be a good one.

Another solid game, another solid win. Not a big fan of the shell they go into when they have a lead but its hard to keep the pedal pushed down when you are cruising with a 3 goal cushion.

Reading this IGT and other threads can be comical though.... How dewey is a mod is beyond me, all he does is mock people with the worst and most unoriginal schtick I have ever witnessed. He has zero credibility and keeps posting, its fucking hilarious!
