The Bulls get frustrated in these types of games where they are down and trying desperately to mount a comeback and the other team keeps answering.

They never play good defense playing uptempo (especially with Pau or Niko in the game) because of their shitty transition defense.

But their offense is absolutely never good unless they are playing uptempo.

And damn it, they need to stop running their offense through Noah. The defense lags off of him and all he does is try to force passes into traffic.

And why do they keep running their half court offense with Rose bringing it up the floor and handing it off after a curl which leaves Rose standing alone off in the corner? And then ultimately the offense runs through Butler and Noah who really aren't as gifted as Rose at creating off the dribble to say the least.

Butler: "Nobody's opening their mouth at that (defensive) end."

Well no wonder we can't guard the pick and roll...
That's a problem thats easily fixable but is entirely up to the coach.

Vinny Del Negro's Bulls had similar defensive problems. Rose always complained about it back then.

Weird thing is that I'd expect at least Taj and Noah to communicate since they're defensive guys who were essentially groomed under Thibs. That stuff should be ingrained for them I would think. Gasol is probably the main culprit of not calling picks...probably Niko as well.

Were Taj and Noah ever on the floor together?

I barely even saw Taj after halftime. So I don't think so. Noah and Gasol were on the floor for sure. Noah and Portis were out there for a stretch in the 2nd.

Sounds like last year;

[h=1]BULLS' HOME IS TOO COMFY FOR VISITORS[/h]Chicago's loss to Washington on Monday night at the United Center marked the fifth time this season that the Bulls (22-14) have lost at home to a team that currently owns a losing record. Elias Sports Bureau reports that's the most this season for teams with winning records:

  • Nov. 7 Minnesota (102-93 OT)
  • Dec. 5 Charlotte (102-96)
  • Dec. 7 Phoenix (103-101)
  • Dec. 21 Brooklyn (105-102)
  • Jan. 11 Washington (114-110)

Frankly, I feel like we do this every year, good or bad.

I think Thibs helped with the "communication".

I remember there being "communication problems" with Thibs too. It got talked about last year when the Bulls had the same troubles in the pick and roll.
