My mom had a triple bypass around that same time. She suffered a deep depression following that, lost her job, then got divorced. Not trying to bring anyone down or anything . But rdhwke is in luck that depression thing appears to be more common in women.

A 37 year old woman undergoing a bypass passed away while I was in having my surgery.



"Women are [also] two to three times as likely to die following heart bypass surgery. Younger aged women between the ages of 40-59 are up to 4 times more likely to die from heart bypass surgery than men the same age."
