IHN Invasion of the Bristol Renaissance Faire Aug. 18th!

Lords and Ladies!!! It has been decided that Saturday, August 18th. 2012 the IndianHead will invade the Renaissance Faire. We realize this is far in advance but a date needed to be set.

There will be lots of people dressed up (yes, myself included), lots of food/drink. Entertaining shows and places to shop. Me, my mom, and my sister have season passes so we will be there pretty much every weekend and for us it's just one giant pub crawl every day lol

Bring singles. When you see shows, it's how these performers make a living and they are VERY talented people - so you give them some monies when they're done and don't just walk away like an ungrateful asshole.



And as most fear, you totally don't have to wear "garb" - I never do. Although Mass, the amount of, "Doctors" that show up (almost invariably always Tennant) seem to increase exponentially every year.

Wait... what? Doctor's at a Ren Fair? I mean, I guess it makes sense if you are in character as the doctor traveling to that time, but sheesh people... haha. For 14 bucks that aint bad, about as much as it would be in gas to get there hah. Depending on the schedule I'd love to go, I know there will be many more chances to put singles in Ymono's g-string, but this one would be special.

Yeah, occasionally (still rare) you'll get a Trekkie pretending they're on the holodeck as well... the Rennie's ire regarding who shows up as what is starting to grow.

On the really really hot days they sometimes do, we tend to follow the shade throughout the day and whatnot. I don't know how the people that work there in the royalty wear what they do because they have to wear those full long sleeve big dresses it looks torturous
